Love your videos, but really want to say how much we’re enjoying “Photos By Dee.” Dee, you have a great photographic “eye” and your pictures add so much to these videos!!
When I was a little girl we lived in France for a couple of years. We lived in Laon. Every evening my Mom would send me to town to pick up a baguette and a bottle of wine. Yes they sold wine to children. It just blew us away so it was kind of a novelty for me to buy wine for my parents. I thought of this random story when you were watching people go by with baguettes.

“No hats” but points camera directly at man wearing hat 😂😂 love your videos! Helped me convince my husband and friends to cruise

Northern Ireland is part of the UK, The Republic of Ireland in the south is a sovereign country (self contained). So sad this cruise is over it was such a great itinerary! Love from Vancouver Island Canada
Loved this cruise. You guys did a wonderful job with your videos, photos and narration. It was fun "traveling" with U2! 👍😀
The first time I heard the foghorn on a cruise ship was on the return to Seattle from Alaska. It was the middle of the night and it woke me and my mother up. Scared the crap out of us until we realized what it was. Didn’t get much more sleep that night.
Dee, those pictures are beautiful postcards.
Honfleur was our favorite stop on our Seine river cruise. Such a beautiful and charming town!!!
I knew Jay would have the Korma 👍🏼the drink you had with lunch looked nice . The big seagull looked a lot like one of ours
Love this tour and one of my dream trip is to France and now I really wants to more. Thank you all the tours I felt like I was just there with you both every step of the way for these 12 days. Thanks Jay n Dee.❤
Oh wow!! France is on my bucket list! Learning French last school year and this coming school year has taught me so much about the country and their language! Can't wait to visit!
My cruise ship Anthem of the Seas was in le harve this past week. We did Paris definitely not enough time. Had to power walk basically just around the effiel tower.
Great vlog series!! We sail on her this Thanksgiving!! Thanks for letting me see some ins and outs of the ship😊😊
Morning Dee and Jay. The two of you are amazing. You really get around to see so much even when you don't have a lot of time in one location. Thank you ❤
I love your vlogs. My favorite had been your Canadian cruise. This is now my favorite series. So wonderful. So many amazing sights. So happy you got to experience this trip. Thanks so much for sharing! ~ Inge 😺
France is so beautiful.
This was an amazing series!!! You guys do such a great in depth tour for each port, even though it's limited on time & thank you for always telling us the name of the tour companies you use, it really helps us for using in the future... thanks you once again...take care.
I'm a french canadian and I was impressed by your French...and yes "oiseaux" can be use for any type of bird...I enjoyed watching your cruise !!!
I really enjoyed this video - especially your reviews of the menu items at the end. You make this cruise look fun and I’m looking forward to taking it. Thanks Jay and Dee!
We visited Honfleur a couple of weeks before you on a holiday weekend and it was so busy. Cute town but too crazy on the weekend to get to see much.
As usual, an amazing cruise with the perfect vlogs! Thank you again for taking us along with you! Can’t wait for your next adventure. ❤️❤️❤️
Wish Jay could've squeezed into the cute car just to see how roomy (or not) it is
Love the double decker....
Thank you so much for doing this cruise! On our bucket list, although seems intimidating. I feel we could do it, would love an overview!
I love black pepper on watermelon! I vet it would have been greet with the feta.
Pepper is actually really good on watermelon and strawberries.
Hey Jay and Dee! Would ya'll go back to France again on a cruise? Jw if you liked it that much? Was there alot of people speaking french?:thanks for this awesome episode today! ❤
Lol! Google says this about pepper and watermelon... guess I will try it next time I have watermelon: "Salt and spicy coarse ground black pepper accent the juicy sweetness of the melon..."
My quiche it jiggle jiggles, my crepe folds start a new parady
Ireland is part of the British Isles
I agree.. 6 hrs round trip is too much... 3 hrs, maybe...

According to our KZread stats, the average view time for our videos is about 20 minutes, hah… people would probably just keep drifting off if we made them much longer than a half hour or so! Tomorrows video (part 10) is actually over 40 minutes long, so we’ll see how it goes!! :P ~Jay

I do pepper my watermelon, definitely worth a try.
Thank you for this vlog, did you find 3 hours in Honfleur was enough time to explore or a little rushed.
Will do taking this similar cruise in October, what was the dress attire for dinner? Is a suit necessary?

No, short sleeve button ups or polos were fine, so you don’t even need real “sleeves”, hah!! :P
Going to stop there on our cruise…looking to go to Normandy beaches. All excursions are sold out. Anybody know I good way to get there from the port?
Great videos, I will be on the Regal Princess this year doing the BI cruise so the excursion tips have been very useful. On the question re Ireland being part of Great Britain, it isn't. But the Republic of Ireland is part of the British Isles. Great Britain is made up of England, Scotland and Wales, the United Kingdom includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Is the breakfast food in the International Cafe hot or cold? Thanks!

Any items can be heated in their little rapid oven, like the English muffin sandwiches and whatnot.
There were riots in Paris the past week and not a very safe place to be at the moment, just in case you are thinking of heading there.
How far away were you from the Normandy Beach area?

The D-Day beaches are about two hours from Le Havre, give or take!!
Le Havre is a 1 hour time difference from the UK, Did the ship change their clocks to match France's time zone?
What are the contact details of the taxi company in Le harve? I can’t read the board properly 😂 the D Day tour looks good!
What month did you go to Honfleur? What temperature was it?
Jay men’s are to remove their hats when entering a church. Ladies can wear hats. I don’t know if that applies over there for ladies. But in the USA ladies can wear hats in church but men’s can.
What is the area at min 9:05 & 15:15 min & carouael so I know how to ask how to get there?

Not sure if that exact location has a name, but it’s just off Place Auguste Perret where the shuttle bus dropped us.
Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales. Adding Northern Ireland it is known officially as The United Kingdom Of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Southern Ireland is not part of the UK. Southern Ireland is in the EU, United Kingdom is no longer. Hope this helps.

That's a long title to remember. Someday, I would love to take the same cruise as this, with my family! The whole itinerary was simply amazing! Thank you so much, Dee and Jay!
The island of Great Britain is Wales, Scotland, and England. Northern Ireland and Great Britain is the UK. Both the Republic of Ireland and the UK are in the British Isles. The Republic of Ireland is part of the European Union, and uses Euros while The UK uses British Pounds.
The Republic of Ireland.

Ireland isn't part of great Britian. I have a theory as to why you guys went to Ireland on a British isles cruise. The uk could have a similar law on the books like we have if you sail to Alaska you must travel to a foreign country aka Canada. It's just a theory.
Ireland 36 counties is now part of the EU never part of the British Isles nor the UK. It's only Northern Ireland that's owned by England and therefore part of the British Isles. The Irish are very sensitive about it. I know first hand because I live in Ireland.

You are wrong. The whole of Ireland is part of the British Isles.... and England does not own Northern Irelamd.
The entire island of Ireland is part of the British Isles and only part of it is in the UK. The Channel Islands are not part of the British Isles but are British Islands however they are not part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Isle of Man is within the British Isles and it is also a British Island but it is NOT part of the UK. The term 'British Isles' is a geographical expression but 'the UK' is a political one. This is what confuses people. Some people are unable to separate geographical expressions from political ones and will always get in a muddle and make mistakes. Your cruise was a British Isles and Normandy France cruise. Incidently Normandy and England were for a while united after the arrival in 1066 of William the Conqueror who was the Duke of Normandy. The union ended in 1204.
No, Ireland is NOT part of either Great Britain or the British Isles. The British Isles is a term made up by the English to imply ownership / territorial claims. Northwest European archipelago or Atlantic Archipelago are alternatives. It’s okay to say British isles in Britain and some parts of Northern Ireland but not in Ireland. I’ve really enjoyed this series of videos and the previous. Iceland looks amazing.

@justoheaghra1317 The words 'British Isles' is a geographical expression and it has always been and Princess Cruises are 100% correct in using these words as it is used in the correct context. Your beef is not wih me it is with Princess Cruises and Carnival corporation and the rest of the world or is it planet or Earth.

@@renatobernardin2183 Ha ha, I have no beef with princess. It hasn’t always been called British Isle though has it. It dates from 16th century English propaganda. You may see it as a harmless geographical term but for many it’s a dated political term, that is how it started, that Implies ownership and empire. It isn’t.t a legal recognised term. Also, at no point did I say Princess cruises were wrong to use it, I said it was ok to use in England / Britain / some parts of Northern Ireland but not Ireland. I would question the use of it for this cruise as La Havre also not British.
Giving all the kudos to editing Jay for the music in this series. I loved it & it was perfectly chosen for each port location. Excellent! 👏🎉
