Yeah I agree my High Country is built sitting in Mexico wait to be shipped but just sat in a LTZ at the dealership and that screen looks huge in person

Is it me or is that interior the same has the chevys you can see the AC vents look similar to the silverados on the other sierras the AC vents are on the top of the center screen is that only a higher trim level thing ?

@@BIGGIEBAG-XL doesn't matter not trolling, the construction of these new GM are terrible. Go and buy one you'll see. The only thing upgraded on this new model is engine which will help but all that tech you can forget about it. The body is still fiber glass composite, will rattle apart like mine is. Don't say I didn't warn you

@@BIGGIEBAG-XL and if you are going to use these trucks for any type of work I mean even the lightest duty construction, it will look like a tin can asap. The tailgate is made of light duty metal and will dent like no other. This is a tricked out grocery getter at best that's all. I know I have one

I just got this truck today! To my surprise they installed the kicker sound system for the pro tail gate same day! Later on they will Install the heated seats chip and I'll be set. This truck it's well equipped I'm happy with my purchase

I have 105k miles on my 2020 Duramax. I love this engine.

@@timsupplee7619 I traded it in with 174k in Aug 2023. Started to have some engine issues, so I got a Sierra 5.3L.

That is a beautiful truck. I can wait for you do a review of the updated and upgraded HD with the new interior. I sure hope that GM ups the HP and Torque numbers also. Thanks for the review of new 1500 Brian. Your viewer who purchased the truck sure got a great looking truck.

Just picked up my truck Friday! Elevation 3.0 premium package and x31 package all black! Dealer told me its the only one in my area. Also got a $1250 Elevation premium package & X31 off-road protection package discount! Was not expecting that! This is my first GM vehicle and the process was smooth just like my new truck!( lol ) Put the reservation in last November great communication with my dealership and NO HASSLE! Glad to be apart of the GM family! Shout out to Gary and Bishoy @Alexander Buick GMC in Simi Valley CA.

I just got my VIN on my order. It's been built! I have this exact trucking coming in a red Cayenne. New Elevation premium package with leather and adaptive cruise, sunroof, 3.0 diesel. I should have it before the end of next month at the latest.

THIS TRUCK IS JUST PERFECT!!! I have a 2017 elevation and always drive it and use for everything. But with this out now and especially with the 3.0l in it. OMG!! I really want to upgrade my truck to this or possibly buy it.

I am the new proud owner of this truck. I saw this video and emailed the dealership and with a little luck the previous deal with the person who had ordered it fell through and I was able to purchase it.

Damn!! I have the same truck in desert sand metallic going into production next month. Elevation loaded up is the best trim in my opinion.

This video alone got me to order a Sierra over the F-150 and Silverado. Such a good looking truck! Had a really hard time deciding between a blacked out version or red. Ultimately went with the cardinal red! Now I just have to wait for my dealership to be able to order it!

Beautiful truck. I have the 2019 GM Sierra elevation with the dark sky metallic. Love it, and really don't have any issues with it. Love the refresh, the front and new interior look slick. Probably it's too soon since I've only had it for a little over 2 years to get the refresh. Think I'll wait another year or so tell GM starts giving rebates as they are not for this first half.

Mines a 2020 Sierra Elevation with the same paint color. No problems here (26,000) miles on the 2.7T. The interior is tempting, but the purchase price is nearly $10-15k increase from what I paid mine. It's tempting, but not sure if its worth $200 more a month.

Great video! I love the look of the elevation the most of all the trims. One thing that blows my mind is that you get all this great technology, but no memory seats for a $60,000+ vehicle. I don’t know why, but that really bothers me when I see very nice vehicles skimp out on something fairly useful. I can’t stand readjusting my seat and mirrors after someone else drives.

@@STEWDEE almost everyone takes a second look at my truck. I drove over 2600 miles driving to Florida and back. Was on interstates, tolls, beaches and everything else. I never saw another 21 Lunar Rock TRD Pro Tundra the whole trip. Way than a 100 Raptors and several TRX. My truck looks awesome and the exhaust trumps just about everything else

I ordered this exact truck two weeks ago. I got an email from GM a week later that said your order has been accepted for production. Now that I've seen it here, and how good it looks, I'm just going to say the waiting is the hardest part. Hope I get it before the summer is over.

@@alanhefter4659 My salesman called me today to confirm if I still wanted the truck. I told him yes. He told me it was going to be built the week of the 18 this month and should be at the dealership in 6 weeks or so.

Excellent overview. I own this truck. Love the diesel with the 10 speed transmission in the Elevation package. I have 25,000 miles on my truck and it is running flawlessly. 👍

So glad I got mine in 2020. When I heard they were getting rid of the column shifter and going with a turkey leg in the center console instead, I knew I had to hurry and get a truck before GMC made the truck a bit less utilitarian. So glad I can see my phone while it’s charging and so glad I have a clear and open console space. These new changes are not an upgrade, you pay more for less now. 2020 GMC Sierra at4 6.2l with every option available and still $6,400 less than this 2022 elevation.

The ventilated seats is a must in Texas. Wish you can get that on the elevation trim.

Correction. The Tundra has a wide horizontal display that sticks up higher to keep your heads up better than the GMC. You were correct in that the Ram screen is more vertical.

Best looking trim and best band for the buck.

I think the elevation trim is now my favorite trim. I also like the AT4 but for the price this will probably be the truck I will go with with. Also gotta have that 3.0 duramax

@@TheTexan99 people just like having diesels. I live in Utah, so when the fuel prices aren't all messed up, it seems like diesel is usually cheaper here than premium and the 6.2 requires premium. The 5.3 even recommends at least 87 which is mid here.

What is decontented from the refreshed GMC Sierra SLT you can't get the tech pgk ( HUD ) camper mirrors, the outside lock unlock buttons have been removed Except on the drivers door handle. I have all those items on my 2021 SLT which is stuffed

The past 20 years or so GMC has been killing it. I think every model they've made looks better than the Chevy. Definitely a great refresh.

Just took delivery of a 22 limited and have no regrets. This truck is beautiful but I don’t need all the screens. A good update none the less, just not my thing.

@@ericforeman5466 I have a 2019 Silverado RST fully loaded that I bought used with 4k miles for $40k 1 year ago that’s why I follow this channel. I went with the best deal I could get even if it meant a different brand. But let’s be honest Ford, Toyota then Chevy. Just give good ol Scotty Kilmer a follow.

Does it have the “auto hold” where when you come to a complete stop you can take your foot off the brake and the vehicle remains stopped until you actually press the gas pedal?

Just bought a white one of these today, get it next week. Can’t wait!

I went from a 19 terrain to a 22 limited elevation. I actually miss the push button transmission. I feel it was a step in the right direction as far as advancing technology. I feel the column shifter is outdated and personally, I’m not a fan of the stick in the center console or paddle shifters.

Mostly failiure to start/long crank. So the engines would time out on their cranking and not start. The forums reported that a fix is available that dealers install that have appeared to fix them. A few have also reported DEF tank indication that hampers engine performance.

Nice truck but still say Ram has it on the inside. The shallow center console is a miss. While the vertical displays do go lower, the ability to split it while running CarPlay and still have room for full radio is nice.
