Love the new elevations! A lot of newer features, wish you could add power folding mirrors & the rear view camera & the 6.2 as options.. if they integrated those into this trim.. game over for sure.. still nice truck though!

We've got a lot of love for the Silverados too! GMC really did outdo themselves with this model. Thanks for commenting!

In the previous design I wanted an Elevation in this blue, but only the Pacific was available. So I dragged my feet and never bought one in 2020 or 2021. Finally, when the refresh was announced, I just knew prices were going to go up, so I just took the loss and ordered a 2021 Sierra in SLT and Satin Steel. That was in September, and the next month the refresh was presented by GM and I liked it, but I wanted to know if Dynamic Blue was available. Of course, information trickled out slowly, but in November I found out Dynamic blue was going to be available, so I cancelled my order for the current model and reserved a refresh. I reserved an SLT in crew cab and short box, 2wd. Of course, in February, months after my reservation, the build guides got released from GM, and Dynamic blue was only available onnnnnn.... Elevation and AT4. Absolute bummer. I built my SLT the next day after I received the build guide PDF at my local GMC dealer. I ordered SLT crew cab, short box, 2wd, LM2, and Cayenne Red. I just got an email from my dealer about 4 says ago that my order has been accepted for production. I'm honestly super ultra disappointed I missed out on getting a Dynamic blue SLT, but the red is also gorgeous.

I love the blue. Amazing.

We agree, super glad GMC added this new color. Really gives it a different kind of look.

check rear leaf springs gm still putting defective springs in the rear shake rear bed before you buy if you hear the clunk make them fix it before you buy

GM needed a new interior 4 years ago lol about time, looks great.

Does the elevation not come with memory seating for at least 2 driving profiles?

Chevy has had it and gmc does now the all 4 window down button is gold in summertime......it really is nice Would have never guessed it when first purchased truck

Wow what a truck, but why in the heck did you just skip over the towing plugs, and hitch? As i understand it can now tow like 9300 pounds and would have been nice to confirm that. Not sure what others are using it for but i will be towing some stuff so is important to me.

Very nice looking truck, I like my Ram but I think I like this look a little more.

Same - I have a ram but this refresh to me looks great! Now the problem is trying to find an elevation around here...

Beautiful blue but I'm still pissed off that they've ditched the pacific blue for this version of the elevation like pacific blue is my favorite color especially on a elevation that's like a pure deep sea underwater blue. Still bummed they got rid of the pacific blue for the all new elevation but it's however still available on the Limited elevations which won't be around on the lot for very long sadly.

I have one almost exactly the same ordered in Canada

Why does this car still has the taillights with the halogen bulb brake lights?. Thought this was a full refreshed model 🤷‍♂️

I love the Elevation, just wish power fold mirrors were an option. (I can’t get in my garage without folding both mirrors)

Unfortunately, this package is only available for the 1500. Although, it's rumored that GM is considering adding an Elevation package for the 2500 and 3500. We'll keep our ear to the ground for any announcements they make about that. Thanks for watching!

Yes, the trim is going to be a little different. You are going to have wood trim in the Elevation option and you will get memory seats and power folding mirrors with the SLT

Those taillights aren’t full LED. I love this truck though. The interior is too dark for me but I love the design and flow of the dash. The wood looks high end too.

That is correct, the brake lights, turn indicators and reverse lights are all incandescent with the LED tail lamp! We're glad you liked the truck. It does have quite a dark interior but yeah those wood inlays are such a classy touch and we agree, the dash board and infotainment system looks so seamless with the rest of the truck. Disagree on the comment about leather and sunroof. My 2021 elevation has leather, sunroof and 10 speed transmission and it was lot inventory.

How much is it And can you disable that truck button Considering it’s in the center of all the other buttons so you don’t release the truck Accidentally ( that button really should have been on the. Left we’re the parking brake was)

Hey there, we just released a new video covering the infotainment system and all the interior features in depth. Here's the link to that video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g4CNtMGApba3hc4.html To quickly answer your question, though, while the truck is in drive or reverse that tailgate button is disabled. Only while in park can you drop the tailgate. Upon first opening the tailgate you have to hold that button for two seconds to activate the button and drop the gate. After the first long-press, you can open the tailgate with just a tap. You would be unable to open the tailgate while driving. Thanks for the question! I have my truck on order that should be arriving in two months and when we made the truck online they have the option to color match the wheel arch moldings which is a $695 option.

Black package all badging should be black. Even the exhaust tip should be

Damariz is correct. The 2" lift comes with the AT4 but not with the Elevation. You can, however option the Elevation to come with the skid plate and Rancho shocks like the AT4 does. However, this does not come with the additional height of the AT4.

Short answer, no. You still have to be careful operating the tailgate. However, we do offer a part that disengages the Multi-Pro tailgate functionality when a trailer hitch is in the receiver. We will likely do a video on how that works soon. Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks for your comment! You bring up a great point, any time new tech comes out we have to wonder how reliable it is. We have to say, though, GM certainly seems to have done their homework on this truck. Is any of this tech a substitute for driver awareness and intuition? Absolutely not. Guys just be aware these refreshed 2022 Sierras with 6.2 & 5.3 do NOT have DFM but still have the active lifters in the engine. Time will tell if they will still have issues because the lifter design is the issue. The 3.0 Diesel & 2.7L Turbo are SOLID options.

Here’s a short video showing where that DEF gauge is located under the driver info center in the central gauge cluster kzread.infoAVgVNYQW7zg?feature=share From the Home Screen you can just scroll down 10 or so times and it’ll show you your current DEF level. As far as the best DEF for this vehicle, GM highly recommends using ACDelco DEF. This is an OEM brand owned by GM so this DEF is manufactured specifically for GM vehicles like this. 70k for this truck lol. Can’t wait for their sales to absolutely tank and I’m a GM guy. Fuck paying 70k for a 6th from top trim truck when a similarly optioned Chevy 2500 with an actual duramax costs the same.

I would love to get one and put a supercharger on it with the 5.3.

About 67k with the duramax lmao, just priced one of these with a 5.3 and laughed so hard when I got a final price with destination to be about $70k. That’s how much you need to pay now for a 6th from the top trim level GMC. Above this is the SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali, and Denali Ultimate.

Vortec?!?! You clearly have not been in GM sales very long if you’re still calling that engine a Vortec. Vortec left a long text me ago.

Afm/dfm lawsuit

The chrome badges and exhaust looks stupid. There shouldn't be any chrome on a supposedly blacked out truck. Just like GM to half ass it.

I sprayed all my chrome with black Plasti dip. I bought black matching snap on door handles, the black and blue really pops

WAY too many push buttons. My 2004 silverado has manual parking breaks that uses real cables. Push buttons should be deemed a hazard and banned from big vehicles like this. If your battery gets DCd or burned out, pray to the lord that you survive the fall :)
