Congratulations to your new President. The great Persian Civilization. Never been to your country but I will never forget our family doctor from Iran. He was a very good doctor and listen to his patients. Not sure why you have to be cruel to your Women just because of not wearing proper Hijab? It's never an issue to us whether you wear it or not. It's a woman's preference, it's not what the government say. Even a Christian wear Hijab sometimes because it's very hot in our country. God bless and congratulations again.

If these country people elect intentionally or by mistake a party which will function like Hezbollah and Hamas, then our troubles will just increase many times. Not sure about Egypt. @@karz12 Rasulalla used to eat 7 dates daily, it is mentioned in hadith that one who eats 7 dates on a day he will not be affected by any poisin other than death on that day.

Iran's presidential selection: 1- Majority of people boycotted it. 2- Pezeshkian is neither reformist nor moderate. 3- Pezeshkian is a Khamenei loyalist and supporter of the IRGC. 4- Supreme leader makes important decisions and sets the policies.

He does not look like a terrorist. His expression is mild. The people want change. The only problem is that the hardliners would destabilize efforts towards peace. Any objections by Khameini over the reforms that will be initiated by the new president will only reveal that the hardliners are not serious in bringing change for the people.

It does shine a ray of hope.
