Great video and very impressive skills. I love that you're working with a basic coal fire forge, and your anvil is genius! It proves you really don't need high tech equipment to forge useful tools. I think the forging is amazing, but the hanging of it is dangerous. There are visible gaps. It needs a much larger wooden wedge and then a metal wedge. In an ideal world it would have a tapered eye and no wedge at all.

absolutely a thing of beauty! Great job ;)
Nice job and nice video. I'm going to try drifting to fit the standard Tommy Hawks handle so if needed I can replace quickly as true Hawks needs to fly. Thanks
The pinecones as starter, and your anvil is that a piece of railroad track on end, In the log, going to have to use that one. Nice axe as well.

Love your setup! I’d love a coal/ charcoal forge like that.
Красавчик!!! Руки откуда надо.
It’s too bad he hasn’t made any more videos this past year. Really enjoyed watching his work.
Да ты не только мастер. Но и бросаешь хорошо

I think the forging is amazing, but the hanging of it is dangerous. There are visible gaps. It needs a much larger wooden wedge and then a metal wedge. In an ideal world it would have a tapered eye and no wedge at all.
Watched the whole video. I was like "when will he throw it, when when when?" The end of the video was coming and still no throwing, I was like "omg he wont throw it.. he wont.." And suddenly, woooosh , tok. yesssssss!! very cool video. thanks.

Ого. Рабочие 200-летние инструменты. У нас, за 400 км к северо-востоку, единственная 200-летняя вещь - это разве что церковь.

Is that forge self made? Kind of looks like a sewing machine pedal con edited to a car turbo. P cool!
