I believe the confusion was from the mini-series using the Emerald Hill Loop rather than the loop used on Angel Island Zone, despite the rest of the background not being Emerald Hill.

The fact that Knuckles knows the movie Mall Cop demonstrates how familiar he is with movies thanks to Sonic.

Another reference people missed that the mech the buyer used looks like the mechs GUN uses in SA2. Also in the show they mention the existence of bounty hunters. Which could apply to Knuckles or Rouge as well

When Wade says show them the way its a refrence to ugandan knuckles

Yes, that's true. I thought I would sneak that one in because for Sonic fans when we think of Metropolis, we would think of Sonic 2 but yeah this wasn't a direct reference or easter egg just something subtle.

You forgot a reference when in that one scene when wade asks knuckles to call him then he started saying nicknames of him and one of them was sir knucksalot which is a reference to sonic and the black knight because knuckles is called sir lancelot in that game

In SatBK, Sir Lancelot is Shadow, Knuckles is Sir Gawain. The Knucksalot name sounds more like a reference to the rapper Sir Mix-alot, which was a reference to Sir Lancelot in Arthurian Myth

You missed two. In the first episode where Knuckles throws a G.U.N. soldier into an arcade cabinet, next to the destroyed one, you can see a TMNT game. Wade also has TMNT bedsheets and a pilowcase (at his mom’s house) and even a TMNT shirt!

So in this adaptation, Iblis is a monster from another planet/world/dimension, and Knuckles defeated him with his own strenght gaining control over the Flames of Disaster. This show made me notice how OP the characters are in comparison to their game counterparts (same goes for items like the rings and emeralds)

That og sonic movie that came out in 96 is near and dear to my heart forever

I would consider Knuckles educating Wade on the difference between flying and gliding as a game reference

The way Knuckles dig like a drill is part of his move set in SA1 and I think Frontiers too.

The Flames of Disaster is also an actual thing from Sonic. It's what Iblis was reffered to as when it was sealed inside of Elise.

The fact that they mentioned the flames of disaster and iblis shows himself, could mean that silver and blaze COULD be a possibility in sonic 4

The original Pachacámac comes from SA1, of course it's not the same one we see in the series, that's like saying this Knuckles is the same from either the games or cartoons, he's obviously not.

Meanwhile in the series pachacamac is a protrayed as a very cool guy,and sort of "father"/mentor of knuckles
