I wish I knew about you guys 20 years ago....darn it. I loved Mules but don’t know squat about them. Heck I don’t even know why I like them? I’ve heard stories that scare me but I’m sure if I spoke to people that are familiar with them, would relieve my fears. Ah geez maybe it’s not too late....I’ve got great great grand nieces and nephews. I need to subscribe to keep in touch. Thank you Reese Bros for being there.

I love mules, wish I was still on the farm so I could have one.

Never seen a mule auction that was very interesting to see. A lot of work was put in on those animals

My understanding is that mules are better footed than horses, so I can understand why they are used for trips into the Grand Canyon. I volunteer at a donkey sanctuary in Ontario, Canada, so my hope is that the mules in the Grand Canyon are well cared for.

Love that sellers can expo their mule through the course ahead of the auction. But like a ton of people, I've come to hate the atmosphere and incomprehensible prattling of auctioneers. While I think you're likely to pay a little more at online auction sites, it's totally worth it just to be able to have cogent communications with the seller, know exactly where the bid is at, and never have to hear any of that auctioneers' racket. The funniest cut I ever heard came from a potential buyer who dropped out of the bidding because he couldn't understand where the price was, and then the reining prospect sold for less than he was willing to pay. At the close of the sale on the colt he yelled: "Do you go to school to learn to jabber like an idiot, or is that from brain trauma?!" (LOL!)

I was raised attending cattle auction so it is no problem for me to understand, you just might be a city slicker.

@@nickyrider7987 I have plenty of livestock auction experience and generally have no problem following the bid, but thanks for your entertaining failure at a guess. What you failed to consider, perhaps for lack of experience beyond your local auction houses, is that all auctions and auctioneers are not equal in quality or clarity. And the "city slickers" as you put it, are not the low-dollar horse flippers, but people and stables with money who are hands on in their search. Sadly, the decades old equine auction near me couldn't be bothered with something as simple and cheap as an auction tote board to compensate for their hillbilly auctioneer's frequent lack of bid clarity during his outdated jabber. As internet auctions came online, the higher quality sellers and buyers were the first to move over to those venues. What was left wasn't enough to sustain the auction house - now closed.

The message I got from this? This company works very hard to please its customer, if they aren't happy with a mule, they can work it out. Question.....what about the mule? Who is purchasing these mules? Are the mules being worked hard, and not being well taken care of? Are the mules being shipped to countries like China? Where they are worked to the very bone? Everybody says they love mules, but the reality of it is how are they being used and treated? What can this fourth generation family business say about how their mules are being taken care of?

Why is there so many people standing around in the sales arena ?

I think mule is great looking creature when u think of mule u think less then horse and and its not far from truth its harder to get a mule i think their great looking love the ears and the walk i know they can bound over any thing horse can

that would be a great event to witness a trail ride through some wilderness, it must be a lot of work to train a mule to ride like these ones?
