Once upon a time like the 80's or maybe the 90's this hatred was there. Now it's nothing more than a media beat up to garner interest. all the players play against each other every week and all hug and laugh after every game. State of origin had meaning, such as QLD trying to prove themselves or later it depended on results for Australian selection, now it's nothing more than an exihibition game.
