When Hansen Yachts invited me down to check out their 1999 Sea Ray 330, I thought for sure it would be a Sundancer sports cruiser. However, this is the much rarer and highly sought after Sea Ray 330 Amberjack Express. The biggest difference with the Amberjack over the Sundancer is the aft cockpit. Rather than catering to luxury seats for family cruising, the aft cockpit is designed with fishing and diving in mind instead. You have far more deck space, rod holders throughout, insulated fish holds in the deck, and much more.
This particular example also boasts twin Mercruiser 6.2 liter engines, producing 350hp each, with only 54 hours on the clock!! As well as the new engines, there is also a Westerbeke 5kw generator that was installed in 2021 with only 400 hours logged to date. To top it off, the electronics have all been upgraded to include triple multifunction displays with radar, chartplotter, sonar, and engine instrumentation integrated.
Down below, the accommodation converts to 4 berths in 2 cabins, with a well-equipped galley and heads compartment. This is the perfect weekend fishing retreat where all the large expensive ticket items have been either replaced, upgraded, or both!!
