Reduce Pain in a Single Leg Squat after Knee Surgery | Tim Keeley | Physio REHAB
Many people struggle with anterior knee pain just under the knee cap after knee surgery - especially in a single leg squat. If you're doing lots of strengthening, mobility and stability work but still get this issue - try unloading the knee and working on the hip hinge components then the knee bend component using a suspension trainer and a slider.

Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the explanation! Hope I can manage to do it over time!!! Although I have strength I have so much tension on the knee doing the single leg squat that I get a stop through the patellar tendon.I feel it if I move against this it could mean rupture…
Zzzactly. Always initiate from the hip-hinge regardless of the pattern being a knee/quad-dominant or hip-dominant.
I really have a STOP when I do single leg squat (pistol) when knee over toes…its a really big tension like its stiff and cannot go further…please tell me why is this happening😭😭do you think it gets better…this is frustrating…
