shouldn’t it be 45% contrast because 25+10+20=55+45=100 but if you want contrast to be the higher percent than lower the other percentages so you can raise the contrast percentage so it doesn’t go over 100

I come from a family where just about everyone can draw. My dad used to design elaborate characters for his D&D campaigns, my mom had designed one of her tattoos, my uncles can draw some of the most realistic flowers I've ever seen from just doodles. Growing up I was frustrated because I could draw, but really, only the basics, and I couldn't even attempt people. It took until I was 18 before I worked up any real courage to get a sketchbook and start drawing. In a year, I drew on 4 pages. About two weeks ago, I discovered your channel, and slowly I've worked myself up to try more, and try harder to improve my art, and even practice, which terrifies me. Tonight, I finally decided that this is where my journey begins. I sat down, and I drew different poses for 50 solid minutes. I filled three full pages of my sketchbook, and even the improvement from my first pose, though the others is incredible. I looked back over and actually started crying, from the sheer joy and relief that I was actually able to start my journey. I just wanted to say thank you Rin. I don't think I could have done this without you. You are truely an inspiration

I love the glowing eyes. Gives the character more of that traditional mermaid vibe. Like beautiful and kinda innocent, but lures sailors to their death.

It's brown, not pink. She said it had pink-ish purple undertones, but her hair doesn't actually have those. She always refers to her hair as "potato brown."

I don't know if you want an answer from me but, something I recently got the hang of with hair is to remember that it's not all going in the same direction on you head and everyone has a hairline, so a tip is to find where you want your hair line to be and build off it from there. Hair pulls away from the line. Hope this helps :) (I'm bad at explaining things but I hope you get the point)

I loved this video, it was so much fun! A little suggestion for the next video, when you were talking about the changes you were making in you own drawings compared to the original I kept having to rewind the video a little bit to see what you were talking about, it would of been nice to have a miniature of the original as reference in like a corner of the screen or something. Just seeing how you got back into art and drawing alot everyday is so inspiring to me. I used to draw hyperrealism but it got too intense and just felt like so much effort I gave up on drawinh for a few years. But now seeinv what you are creating and loving the progress I've started to fill up my sketchbook again. So thank you! And keep going!

That's true... I was making my sketchbook cover and I totally planed to give the girl an edgy look(I practiced the look three times) but on the cover I don't know but it turned into a shy looking girl(even though I gave her red eyes).🤔
