bro if u want to go to the recovery mode then u have to unlock bootloader. phones like redmi 2 or redmi 2 prime has unlocked bootloader while redmi note 3 comes with locked bootloader so u have to unlock bootloader in redmi note 3.

If you did a factory reset/data wipe/system wipe, your hope is virtually gone. The last shot you (or anyone else facing this problem) could try is to meet with someone from mobile forensics lab and ask them whether they could have a look at it. They have specialized equipment that is sometimes able to pull formatted or erased data. This worked surprisingly well for old HDD, I believe due to a residual electromagnetic charge or field which they could observe by the highly specialized (and expensive) hardware.

witout unlocking the bootloader you can't do nothing. You have to lose the warranty for solve this issue. I tried to solve it upragading from Miui7 to Miui8 but i can't get any solutuion. For now the only one is unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery or an oficial one. But i recomend a custom.

Hold down POWER button for almost a minute and it should boot normally.. if it does not, visit service center.

using adb and fastboot tools for windows u can issue the command "adb reboot bootloader" to enter fastboot and u will see the bunny mascot of xiaomi with fastboot written. altho im not sure how to enter recovery from fastboot mode u can exit from here using the command "fastboot reboot" which will load the rom and u will be taken back to ur home screen. if anyone figured out how to enter recovery from fastboot screen plzzzzzzzz share with the community.

My phone is locked and the old password is not accepting. There is no option for forgot password and also the hard reset is not working like you showed on one of your video . Only solution 3rd party recovery options (EG - TWRP).... That works however then you cannot install OTA MIUI updates... You have to keep downloading the new update 1GB file and keep flashing it......Tedious Job... I have just forwarded a thread for a solution lets hope for the best......
