This worked! I did it twice. It didn't work initially. Then, after 10 minutes or so in the recovery menu (I was giving up by then), it automatically rebooted and started properly. Thanks! You are a life saver!

Guys you can try this one too I figured it out myself so I’ll explain first reboot the device by pressing the reboot device button then when black screen pops up press the three buttons power , volume down and up at a time for 2 seconds and my phone rebooted successfully 😊

It worked man ❤️❤️ I did it for 40 seconds Phone was coming back to recovery window Then I was tired and stopped trying then Suddenly it came back to life 😁❤️

Thank you so so so muchhhhh!! From past 3 hours I am facing this issue and your video is a blessing. My issue is not fixed in one minute, but I believed in your video and have tried this procedure continuously. Next I did 3 trials, I kept holding for 2 mins in each trial but still issue existed.. In 4th trial, I have kept holding 3 buttons for almost 3-4 mins and then released the buttons. This time, the MIUI recovery page again displayed, so I clicked on option reboot --> then reboot to system. Luckily, my mobile restarted. Thanks for the very useful video!!

How much time do you hold buttons?

Ok , giving my way of fixing it. 1. At First you will need a sim ejection tool , with your sim tray blank,(empty) take it out from the mobile phone. 2. Than press volume - button and screen lock button at same time for 2-3 seconds and as the mobile screen turns blank or black than you have put in the sim tray as fast as possible by keeping the volume - and lock button pressed , and when you will see the MIUI sign , welcome your phone is back without data lost. Keep trying ,if it's not work in a single try. Or you can hold the volume- and lock button both pressed together for 1-2 minutes , this can also work.

@@piyushkukreja7802 data will be there if you dint wipe while in the recovery mode. I wiped mine. And no it wasn't in the recovery mode all this while. But that volume buttons were acting weird

Thank you very much, man! I thought that I have lost all my data on phone forever, but this method worked well! I am so greatful! By the way, while I was holding those 3 buttons on xiaomi 8 lite, there was no rabbit picture and it reloaded every 5-7 seconds for a few times. Nevertheless I was keeping them clicked during 1 minute, like you said, and finally the phone switched on well (or I saw a recovery menu once again, clicked restart there and then it worked. - I do not remember now for sure). I am so happy!

Tried it on Redmi Note 7 after reading 100% positive comments. But first it didn't work, kept on rebooting but one last reboot, pressed the volume down button (expecting fast boot mode) but it showed MUI logo and booted back to life as new. Thanks to the creator of this video.
