Learn from Google, the first 5 Pixel phones used the same sensor and just optimized the camera settings and software to produce better results. The sony IMX766 is a really good sensor. It has been around for 18 months I feel with correct optimization, this can produce even better results (in majority of scenarios) than a 200 MP sensor which is new in market.

Talk about the price difference since the 1st redmi note series, I think companies are increasing their prices every time a new note series comes. And it is a bad decision for a redmi note series fan. They are making us spend a little more every time.

Actually xiaomi is using what economist refers to as "Decoy effect" People's perception of value is always relative to something, so when you have a similar phone but at a more expensive price - the less expensive phone which has two or three less features, suddenly appears to be a great deal. As rakesh sir said, the only differences between note 12 pro and note 12 pro+ is battery, charging and camera which is minor, not something huge that most of the people wouldn't even notice. I don't think xiaomi expects to sell a lot of note 12 pro+. Pro+ only exists to sell more pro's.

This one feels like a better value honestly... They both got OIS but i believe in Sony supremacy more so if i buy... I'll definitely go for pro over pro+ all that the plus offers is Megapixel but I've use sony sensor before and i can tell that the light capture is better on Sony sensors so can you compare both the cameras in detail???

Redmi Note 12 Pro should've had Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The rest is fine. I was waiting to buy it, but I don't trust MediaTek processors. Redmi Note 12 has Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, but it misses out on stereo speakers, which I want. It's very difficult to get a well-rounded phone in the mid-range market now. Redmi Note 10 Pro was the last best choice in that segment. Also, the brands have deliberately shifted the mid-range category from ₹13-18K to ₹20-25K while omitting some features. You only get the base model for ₹15K now, instead of the 'Pro' model.

Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is only there for people to be attracted slightly towards Redmi Note 12 Pro because of the almost same specs and pricing. -People prefer boxy design instead of round or slightly curved -People prefer Sony's camera sensor because Samsung's camera lens hasn't really proved itself to be worthy or we can say they Samsung is A while Sony is A++ -People prefer longer battery life so definitely those who want to keep their smartphone for more than 2 years will look for a smartphone with a battery that can easily stay at good health for more than 2 years while 120 Watt will definitely diminish the battery health so.... All in all Redmi Note 12 Pro is a better option anyday.

I was looking for a camera phone under 25K and two phone poco x5 pro and redmi note 12 pro got my attention. There is realme obviously but curve display , I don't like much. Anyway those two phones are good in terms of specs and all but I was searching youtube for many days for just one single answer .
