40 isn't old though. I'd be more impressed if he was in his late 70's 🤣 he is good though. I've only seen him live once, back in 2012. It was sort of an extra show for minors, since he was doing another show that you had to be 18+ to attend. I liked it though! Happy I went. He was on stage, trying to make us laugh and make sure we had a good time. I met him after the show too. Very kind person ☺️

@marinevet4131
6 жыл бұрын
RizzoJMusic I completely respect your opinion, but please understand that any list of top lyricist will be completely based off ones personal taste and preference. IE: Tons of people think 2Pac is a top 5 lyricist. I personally think he’s overrated as a “lyricist” I think his cultural impact was more significant then his rhyming skills. Could he spit? Yes! Did he move me lyrically like a Biggie or Nas?Not even close. He had a way to make you feel his words but that doesn’t make you a great “lyricist”. See that’s my opinion though.

Marine Vet Redman is a legend in his own right, but certainly he is not even among the top 20 lyricist
@marinevet4131

I'm old enough to remember when Redman entered the game with braids... And I'm ok with dude growing his hair again and rocking them in his 40s... He's meant THAT MUCH to me as a hip hop artist where he can almost do no wrong.
