I want to get one of these phones to put it in a telescopic controller and use it exclusively as a handheld gaming device for emulation and stuff. None of the dedicated handhelds have as good displays.

Most underrated tech channel i met Ash back in 2018 in Kolkata when i had Vivo 11pro😅

Honestly this is the best phone right now if you dont care about taking pictures and especially selfies too much. Huge battery, top performance and a great display with no disturbing notch or punchhole. Mine is arriving tomorrow, i am very excited

It just sucks that there is no app duplicator and access to other apps while gaming like he have at 6:30 for the Global Version. I'm so pissed right now because I really use those features alot at my last phone. Do u have the Global Version? And please tell me if you have those what I mentioned.

I'm sending my Redmagic 8s Pro BACK to ZTE. I could deal the crappy selfie camera, I could deal the non-expandable 512 GB storage. The Redmagic software is freaking DOMINEERING!!! You cant even install a custom launcher without this P.O.S. phone starts glitching and reverts back to the factory launcher. This is why I left apple, I bought a gaming phone so I can customize it the way how I want.

I am so confused. I live in the states, so I bought the US model of this phone. I have the Aurora/16GB/512 model. On the US based website, they list this phone with having the 8 Gen. 2 chip. If you go the GSMArena. They list the phone as having the 8+ Gen. 2 chip. If you go to, Giztop, they list the phone as also having the 8+ Gen. 2. So, who is right and who is wrong? Or is it just the language everyone is using that is getting me mixed up?

8+ gen 2 doesn't officially exist... there is an overclocked version of the 8 gen 2 which samsung calls 8 gen 2 for galaxy and is called 8 gen 2 leading version here - in the past similar overclocked versions have been called + variants officially... 888 to 888+, 8 gen 1 to 8+ gen 1... so some people are calling it 8+ gen 2... though qualcomm for whatever reason hasn't (probably a deal with samsung, but that's just speculation)

The chipset is overclocked like on samsung smartphones ( snapdragon for galaxy)

Main concern it won't be released in india

I have three concerns. 1. battery Life depletion rate 2. Cleaning, such as dust being sucked up into the fan 3. LTE/Coverage options for the phone. I heard some providers don’t work with it. This is a major concern to me since there isn’t almost no information for Canadian services such as Koodo in my location.

Will this phone ever see software updates and monthly security patches?
