Thanks for the great video Alvin. I just left Country Flyfisher shop in Fredericksburg. I’ve been talking to Robert McCurdy for the last 2 hours. He definitely remembers you from Austin Angler, didn’t realize he started that. First flyshop in Texas! He even went to some of your Bad Mutha Goose gigs. I run into him there pretty often. Glad it's cooler down here. I have just started fishing with Project Healing Waters to try and help my through some combat issues. I found you on IG I think but happy I found your KZread Channel.. Hope I could meet you and fish someday. I have never fished saltwater on flies. ~ Charlie

Bro this is so cool! I am hoping too get down there and do some red fishing this year. How many times have you been snagged at the back of the boat. Ive got mad respect that would terrify me!

I would say anywhere from Port O'Connor south. More clear water than the Galveston area.

What are the black spikes running around the edge of your skiff?

Hey Alvin, I'm moving to NC from Utah shortly. Avid trout fisherman, and looking to turn saltwater. Quick question for you- What would be your boat of choice if I wanted a fly platform, but also have a family of 5 that wants to cruise to beaches etc.? Also any favorite books for a new saltwater fly fisherman? Any guidance you could provide would be great.
