Hey brother, I use my wife's fingernail paint to mark she snook slots on my rod for quick measuring. You can do the same with reds. Two dots of paint to mark min and max is all it takes. That was obviously over slot but just a pro tip for when it's closer.

They taste Great! I usually always keep in the slot range 18in-27in 👍🏻

Once they get over size they start to stink real bad. That one he caught is probably close to washing up dead. But legal size taste great.
