Fancams were first introduced by fans recording their favs by phones and uploading it, hence the name, fancams, but when it got REALLY popular, production companies were like "write that down, write that down!" And started catching up by uploading these better quality fancams in their channels..

I think the reason why so many other kpop groups aren’t on there is bc of newer ones getting so many views, and the fact that most of the fancams on this list are of the same people. Like other idols have millions of views and they’re still poppin but these idols just continuously get more because of how popular they are. It’s almost less to do with the group (although BTS and BP are different) and more with the idol themselves

It's also popularity, Jhope for example is the main dancer and an incredible performer but he's not even in the top 100. Tae and the rest of the maknae line have always been the most popular in BTS.

Taehyung has many fancams of the same songs performed that are over 1M views maybe that's why. Idk. Even for Spring Day he has another fancam (THE iconic performance at MMA 2017) which is at 6 or 7M, other than the one here. Even more insane is that his 2nd most viewed fancam for ON has also 10M views already so it means he has 22M and 10M views for same song😳

The views are not only for having perfect dance techniques, otherwise only dancers like Kai, Jhope, Sehun, Taemin, etc. would be there. When you look at them, you feel the grace, charisma, beauty, vibe, and energy that this artist transmits. For some, like that disrespectful man, it's about looking sexy or tough or lifting his shirt to show abs, but for most there is "something" in that artist that provokes feelings in us that makes us admire them and want to keep seeing him.

That fancam deserves the title it has. It brings a big smile and happy feels to me whenever I watch it.
