theres actually a trick where they film wide cam, use a face track software then crop the video to narrow so it only shows that idol.

theres different levels of fancams: the ones from music shows (inkigayo, m count, music bank, etc.) are filmed and posted by the music show (im pretty sure cameras arent even allowed at music shows) one cameraman is assigned to each member and they have to memorize how the idol moves to not ruin the fancam. thank god for official fancams bc they're the usually reliable. events like concerts and special fanmeets where dedicated fans (they're called fansites and are usually dedicated to their one favorite member, ig they're like photography hobbyists) will bring their own fancy expensive cameras and post them online for other fans. these are also usually high quality (but imo sometimes some seem kinda sus and maybe creepy especially from fansites that are known stalkers or perverts). hit or miss depending on the fansite but there are cool ones who are skilled + respectful. and the last tier is like random fans filming at concerts in portrait mode but they're too excited and the camera is shaky and they're screaming and crying in the background and they don't have good seats they're in the back row :)
