I had a very similar encounter with a black figure. Me and 2 friends were walking back to his house it was like 9-10 o'clock so as we were walking I looked behind me and saw a pitch black figure even tho he was right under the light so I'm like *wtf is that" and my friends turn around and one said "f-ing run* so we did but after running for 10 secs i turn around and he's halfway to us so I said to my friends run faster and we did after 5 secs i turn around he's gone

Scary story: So it was a Friday night at my friend's house and we were bored. It was only 8 pm but winter so it was really dark. We wanted to go to this store nearby and so we went. On our way there my friend I'll call her S kept saying she felt someone poking her and me and my other friend I'll call L said we didn't poke her. She didn't fully believe us but we kept walking. A few minutes later L said she felt someone poking her in the back too. We started getting genuinely scared and they told me to watch out for someone because I was the only guy in the group and so I agreed to protect them. We went onto walking and I started feeling scratched on my neck. I was terrified but ignored it. A few minutes later both L and S said they felt poking and scratching on them. At this point we all just stopped at this empty playground to see if the thing poking them would show up. As we were talking on this playground I was looking around and I saw a shadow staring at us behind this one tree. It was the only tree in this entire field. I decided to go check it out and when I did it disappeared. Then I turned around and it was standing behind my friends. At this point we were so terrified we just ran to the store and bought our stuff then left. As we were speed walking back to the house I looked up and saw this humanoid bird creature standing on the power line. I pointed it out to my friends and they didn't see it. Then we heard a scream and we just booked it back to the house. We never go to that store at night anymore.

Playing mine craft and being in the biggest cave with mine shafts, webs, lava, a warden and listening to this all at the same time was nota good I idea since I kept getting jumped and barely surviving because of these stories too

I have a story that kinda fits into the genre of the video. It’s about my paralysis demon, that might not truly only be my paralysis demon. Because I was able to roll off the side of my bed in my weirdly realistic dream. And while I was belly down, I could feel a weird sensation that was it “eating” my back. Of course this didn’t actually affect me in any way but me being weirded out. But it was still a scary thing that happened that involved a weird humanoid thing.

Why does the Erin story sound so... real? It sounds like something that would happen in real life.

I actually got a story when i was a little kid whenever i would sleep randomly at night id see the silhouette of a large bulky figure and their steps sounded wet and fleshy but it would never go into my room fully. This wouls happen until i stopped sleeping in the room

I have a story which is a combination of story 2 and story 3 So when I was 7 or 8 I would sleep with my lights on because I'm scared of the dark. One time when I was going to sleep, in the corner of my eye, I saw a black figure crawling on the wall. I decided to sleep with my mom that night because I got scared of the figure. My sister slept in the same room as my mom (we have a small house), and my sister saw it a day after I decided to start sleeping with my mom. This happened for about 2 weeks straight before the figure disappeared and for about a month I thought I was safe until I saw a shadow coming from my room that had a figure crawling across the wall. The last time I saw this figure was when I was 9 and saw it crawling across the wall. At this point I wasn't too scared of it. After that it hasn't popped up ever since. I still live in the same house and just remembered this today. I still don't know what this figure represents or what it wanted. Another story I barely remember When I was 9 or 10 I was at my grandma's house my cousin's, siblings, and I all went to the backyard. It was dark and I was scared but I was the oldest one there so I decided to go. We had 3 wooden poles at the back because my grandpa used to have chickens there. One of my cousins dared me to go and touch the wooden poles in the backyard. Since I'm very smart I decided to run over to the poles with a flashlight and run back. Genius plan I know. When I ran to the backyard my cousins and siblings were watching me to see if I actually would do it. When I touched one of the poles at the back everyone ran away. I wondered why but then I felt something wet fall on my shirt. It wasn't raining at all so I instantly ran as fast as possible and made it to the front of my grandma's house. When I asked my sister why they left, she said she saw someone behind me when I touched the pole. I was telling my mom what happened and when I looked at my shirt to see the wet spot, there wasn't any. A month or two later I came back to the poles and touched one. Nothing happened. Nothing has happened ever since that time. I still don't know what that was or what it wanted from me.

I have a few experiences with people that look like shadows. In all my experiences it will start in the day where I will feel like I am being watched all day. Then when it gets dark out I’ll see a dark humanoid shadow figure. For some reason even though they are featureless I always think they are some one I know. Sister. friends, someone. However the weirdest part is that I get like really angry when I see them. My fight or flight tends to be flight not fight but in this case I don’t know why. I get super angry and charge them, only for them to run through the floor or a wall and get away. It’s creepy to say the least.
