Your extreme closeups slayed me!!! Reflections of Wayne's World... Love the Kaiju bash!! I appreciate that you guys push these things beyond their limits... The sounds I get to hear on your channel give me comparisons for my future encounters with strange sounds from my rigs!! Kaiju especially, 6s just seems a bit much for me, but I'm quite happy with her on 4s!! Keep up the great work!!

For the front bumper tighten the screws connecting the bumper to the mounts. Had this issue first time out and cracked the mount at chassis. Fixed it and realized the loose bumper to mount screws allowed it to shift like that. No issue after tightening those. And I nose dive from like 6' plus on concrete at times.

Might wanna check the diffs out too!! That noise is all to familiar!! Cheers

I just installed a steell spur and an 11t pinion and the thing sounds insane now. Love this truck.

Haha, I have to say.. I feel like I am getting better at flips! ;)

Kaiju on 5s is perfect for it!! Weird your having so many issues I've beaten my kaiju for over 2 years now and only broken diff cup and an A arm and front bumpers. Check your mesh and tape your rim holes and vent your tires. I also run silicone ear plugs in the middle and rear diff.

Put some foam between the front bumper and the diff cover. That helps 👍. Nice bash!I can do like 7 backflips on 6s 🤣. Get a powerhobby dual fan and heatsink for it.

That was painful to hear. Not so sure how long you waited before you started the day, 24 hours on the Loctite, and use red on the pinion and potentially engine Slide mount if you need it. So if you out and the pinion comes loose your kinda done for the day because that loctite needs to set. I think 6s is fine especially with the metal gearing. That spot looks great and the sand there so fine! Awesome bash spot! Love you guys.... Stay safe

Id say do research on durability and aftermarket parts availability for weak points and go from there, the dementor looks like it drives like a kraton almost but dementor and kraton 6s I believe are close to same price, i paid $550 for kaiju with two 3s and a charger shipped to my house

I'm having issues with gear mesh on mine also helpfully you find something that works cause I keep going thru spurs and pinions

Metal arms are not that good because when you crash the plastic bends rather than snap. So you will not break the arms if you make the arms metal but you will break everything else

Bending is alot better than breaking.

With the power of the 6S you might need a chassis brace as well to stop the chassis flex. That flexing could also cause some of the screws to wiggle loose. oh, one more suggestion, more close ups!

Bad gear meshing can burn up the electronics, my son did it to his traxxas bandit.

Big no no plastic gears on 6s, that looked under powered on 4s but it performed good on 6s 👍 Nice car but it needs some hop ups to perform good

This truck is NOT durable. I've ran it twice not bashing at all...The very first run, I slid into a small rock the control arm snapped into. Not going full speed this is within 3 mins of my first run. It's brand new, no problem I then ordered and repaired it only for the other front left control to break in the exact same place. I'm looking for a suspension upgrade currently or I might return and get an Arrma Notorious.

That gear mesh is too tight sounds horrible... use a price of paper fold it once and run it between the gears and push the motor/ pinion against it and tighten it up. Then gear mesh should be much better and stop making that horrible noise.

Redcats make cheap RC’s period. Many weak spots on all models. I had the Kaiju - first run. Upper A arm and Spur gear gone. The are good value but poor quality. This is not a beast, it’s a handicapped mouse.

🤣 I've had mine for 9 months and nothing has broken. Before I ran it I made sure everything was tight and put together right. For me, the weakest point of the truck is the steering. Definitely needs an upgraded servo and receiver.
