I love Amy too, her character and the actress who plays her. She says so much in just the few lines she is given.

I have not heard anyone comment about the music, so I will. Beyond the choice of actual songs, I love the incidental music - that which accompanies Alex as he nervously paces the red room, the swelling music for both the New Year's eve and the red room kiss, etc. Such music is meant to stay unnoticed on its own accord but emphasizes the emotion of the given moment, and throughout this movie, it does so wonderfully.

First, I love the film, I loved the book too. This commentary however verges on sarcasm. RW&RB is a bloody good RomCom, with pieces of writing that exceed the average, acting that is good, but some bits that are truly pedestrian. Like Doris Day movie of the 50s, it the best example of what it is. No more no less.

Not far from saying that Matthew Lopez is hand made by Jesus or god himself. This great movie doesn't need to be celebrate this way
