Nice work by Steve Simmons on his "Jays season basically over" article. We are already back in a wild card spot. That last series between the Rangers and Mariners will cause one of them to drop out.
Is Vladdy the best 1st baseman in baseball? Some of the plays he makes, the balls he digs out of the dirt for an out are just incredible. Let’s hope his power hitting keeps coming! We need his homers.

I do sometimes miss these back and forth OT games. You don't get them as often with a man starting on 2nd.
This game is "Blue & White Disease" in a nutshell. The boys used their gloves, bats and legs, but sorely needed their heads. They're using up their luck right now, and I'm afraid they'll have run out by October.

In some ways, but he's inherently lazy. The game just came so easy to him. I will say that he's worked on defence; I thought that DH would be the only spot for him.
Vladdy, as usual, aching to be the big hero, doesn't wait and tag. Bo baby is hurt, catcher is fried chicken, Biggio has awoken since he realized he'd be spending next summer in Buffalo. Babe Schneider has cooled down. Jays pitching staff is wicked.

Hard to believe how Chapman has fallen. In April, he looked like a 120 RBI possibility Has he crossed 50?
The Jays all the way brother.
Word has it that during the Red Sox / Yankees series at Fenway, tickets were selling for $1 at secondary ticket sellers. Except for the Dever's signing, John Henry's payroll cuts during Chime Bloom 's tenure has made a consistent last place team that can't compete for a playoff berth anymore and has most likely devalued the franchise. I can’t see season ticket holders renewing their tickets at current prices, either improve the team or lower the ticket prices, same goes for cable's NESN, not much of a carrot for Spectrum Charter Communications anymore.
If I owned this team there would be a mandatory weight requirement to make. No fat guts allowed. You're supposed to be a "Professional Athlete" so act like it.

My question is… how does one get paid multi-million dollars a year and run the bases like a middle-of-the road Little Leaguer? Twice over two games Kirk thought he was a speedster and well, you know, he ain’t that! I know Bichette needed sometime getting back into the game physically, but NOT mentally! The announcer nailed when he said, “It’s no longer a coaching issue… it’s a player issue!”Saying that… Go Blue Jays!
Kirk is sooooo slow. He misses so many extra opportunities because of his weight slowing him down.
