Word has it that during the Red Sox / Yankees series at Fenway, tickets were selling for $1 at secondary ticket sellers. Except for the Dever's signing, John Henry's payroll cuts during Chime Bloom 's tenure has made a consistent last place team that can't compete for a playoff berth anymore and has most likely devalued the franchise. I can’t see season ticket holders renewing their tickets at current prices, either improve the team or lower the ticket prices, same goes for cable's NESN, not much of a carrot for Spectrum Charter Communications anymore.

The choice by Vladdy to go half way in the 13th is much more defensible than Bichette breaking for home. He barely made the catch. If he misses it, maybe you win the game, if he makes it, you're still in scoring position. You could totally convince me that it was the wrong decision, but still defensible at least.
