Red Rose of Normandy - SPECIAL DIRECTORS CUT Full Movie

Captain Klaus Muller desperately fighting to save his men against Russians encirclement on the Eastern Front. Wounded he is sent to Normandy a few days before the D-Day invasion, however here he finds his fiancée and her father serving with the Army. And must now try to save them from the local Gestapo chief, all the while trying to survive the Allies landing. Inspired by real events as they took place during the war. This is the DIRECTORS cut not the general release. See more in my notes about the movie.
Please keep in mind this is an Independent movie made for nothing by a bunch of soldiers, it is not Saving Private Ryan but I will say we have more hardware:-)

My friend , i tip my hat to this film...very clever in the presentation of a small piece of time and history where so many people from so many places had to bear the deep Waters of what war is and still cultivate the eternal principles of common and love...the scene where the doctor makes sure Muller gets the medal back after placing it apon the dead chest of the young soldier spoke through time to my memories and the life and love I've shared and lost with so many wonderful people in so many wonderful places...love is everything..thank you for your efforts and accomplishments ..I salute you brother 😎

Just remember this was the first movie I ever directed over 10 years ago, so certainly it has flaws, but with this edit of the movie I tried to fix some of the problems and issues that had made it into the original release, and also added before unseen footage and small scenes. What we wanted to do was to tell part of the story facing the Germans in Normandy, as it is mostly untold in movies. And of course add a little romance as we are in France right. It may be a battle heavy war film, but I do love the scene in the prison and I hope you galls do to:-) Enjoy

Great movie! War is clearly not just about us vs them as your film so heart-breakingly portrays. There are endless human dimensions to any struggle. I'm not a military man but I am keen to the history of WWII. My father watched from a mango tree as the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and immediately after joined the Navy.... On the beach at Normandy during a vacation I walked down to the surf and decided to run from the water's edge to the cliffs. Who does that? Just to get a physical taste of that effort. Of course no one was shooting at me but it probably wouldn't have mattered. I'm convinced I wouldn't have made it. The surprise for me was at the end of the film with the memorial tribute to your dog. I had just lost my dog of 16 years and watched the entire movie thinking of her. How did you know?

Also, ppl romanticize too much the word "honor", in this context it doesn't worth shi to me, its just a notion to buy a pawns fidelity, just like the big shots like, and Im sure that many are willing to play their games..

Tino,, my Brother (both as a veteran and Mason) I just watched this again and enjoyed it more than the first time. Interesting how actual veterans (especially grunts) know how to PROPERLY move in combat scenes... for Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers, for example, they ran Mini- Basic/Infantry Training courses for the actors. Combat vets can STILL tell the differences, but that's Hollywood. I applaud you and thank you for ALL your projects thus far! QUESTION: You've got the "Deep Freeze" ribbon in the buttonhole, but no EK2. But an EK1 on the pocket, which nearly always required a guy to previously have the EK2. Any reason for it?

As a photographer I can remember my journey well and how far I’ve progressed by getting in and doing it. It’s the path to our goals and experiences we gather along the way that ultimately mold us in our endeavors. Good job getting a large project like this to screen. Garrand M-1 and Mauser 98-K rifles. Even the water canteens on both sides was historically correct. Appears to be historically accurate on the Eastern Front too. Good movie and it's great that someone took the time to insure even the "little things" were correct.

The attention to details was amazing, how the M36 used the coaxial machine gun was something I haven't seen in other movies. The STUG and the T-34s were really well depicted as well, how they used infantry support just like they did back then. The Tiger mockup was on point, unlike other obvious ones. Saving Private Ryan can't compete with it. In terms of story and realism, it's the best I've seen so far. I would definitely watch it again! 👏👏👏

Tino, thank you for producing a fun movie! I spent more time watching this film than actually working!! I enjoy watching movies based on real events and wondered how you gathered all the vehicles for the film? Of course, no movie can be 110% accurate. My only complaint - like with most European theater war movies - is that you did not use (German) actors speaking their native Deutsch. Only Germans could have brought the General’s depicted in your movie that Prussian military vibe - even if they knew they were losing the war. Otherwise - great movie!!!

If i had just a small suggestion, probably compatible with the budget, it was to "connect" more the photography color-lumetry in editing from cut to cut, because it was truly the only thing that suggested me that it was a low budget movie.
