"This superbly crafted film documents Toronto's PCC fleet in its final days. From the 1938 unveiling to present-day operation, the viewer is briefly shown every aspect of their lives. Includes summer operation, historic montage and scrapping sequence. Taken from six hours of original 16mm material, this labour of love took over a year to make. Produced & directed by Colin J. Strayer."
All rights go to Colin J. Strayer (1985) and Empire Pictures (1986 release). This short film is from the "PCC Streetcars: The Way They Were" VHS.

    Tearing these streetcars apart. Really breaks my heart. Streetcars are a part of life.
