Hey Chop, i have the same bike and i love it. Have you changed your gearing at all? Its geared pretty tall and was considering going down a tooth on the front. What do you think?

Great arnt they :-) my gearing is standard but your right its quite tall geared but I quite like that.. I dont ever think I need more pickup in gear and think it could be too much of a wheelie machine of down geared .. If you do it let me know what its like!!

Mate it was too long in the saddle 🤣. No more than 6 a day in the Pyrenees for me 👍

Mr Chops once again you’ve had a pop at Womble about his chicken strips. Please get him a rubbing down block and some 40 grit paper so he can sort this and give it large at Loomies.

No piles but I literally had saddle sores for a week after my return 😂😂

Great video as usual - but can't you hook your sidestand using your toes? Feels a bit awkward but I found it's the best way on a few sportsbikes...

Little nipple thing fell off, I added a bolt but was too short. It's fixed now but was so annoying on the trip haha

what kind of mileage did you get on the sdr ? i'm heading out to do a mini tour in europe but not sure what to plan for... estimating around 180-200 miles per refill to hopefully never go empty

I would say 150 miles easy but will be a push for more Imo.. depends on the roads etc. Mileage range says 220 miles or something when you fill but that's just plain lies hehe

Keep it up wombs and chops! Seriously considering a Tuono factory but at 6ft 5" I may struggle? I hear the KTM 1290R is better suited for taller guys. How tall are you two and how do they compare size wise please?

Phil Aldi I'm exactly 6 foot and I fit perfectly on the tuono but it shouldnt be any smaller. I think with 6 foot 5 you won't be able to ride for long.

Yes you will struggle Phil, honestly SD suits taller riders better

Do you recommend doing such tours covered in leathers? Can't decide if i should buy a new leather or textile suit.

I prefer leather for the protection aspect, but if it had been a wet cold trip I would have gone in textiles for warmth. Its entirely personal preference as the latest textiles are also fantastic

Jo lambie 95 petrol is very bad for your bike mate because of the e10 biofuel that desolves plastics and is bad for the injectors. 98 petrol the good shit💪🏻

You don't even have a clue about petrol obviously In 95 petrol there is a maximum of 5% ethanol E10 is a different type of petrol which contains a maximum of 10% ethanol Every modern bike is designed to work very well with 95 Sure 98/102/105 or higher will be better but you will not experience any disadvantage beside a slight loss of power by using 95 (maybe 1-2 horsepower) And by the way: the injectors are not damaged by 95 as well

It's lost the little nipple thing, I added a bolt but was too short after adjusting my rearsets hight. You can't buy just the nipple £90 quid for a whole unit so new longer bolt now added and problem fixed
