    So Tim can use a viscous coupling ...but what will this do? will it let the diff use 50% of torque when the front slips?

    The vs is always slipping so it will never be true 50-50

    I see...but it is a major upgrade from stock right? I have a lifted CRV with mud tires and I noticed at times it seems like I'm only getting about 15% of torque to the rear tire ...one last question will welding the rear diff be a good idea?

    I don't recommend locking the rear differential if you plan to drive it on the street, that's the same a spool

    Why wouldn’t you just pin the clutch pack and keep the dual pump?

  • @PirateGarage

    @PirateGarage

    5 жыл бұрын

    The dual pump engages the the clutch by pinning it the clutch is permanently locked so the dual pump becomes obsolete

    Pirate Garage my concern is that rage kept being used to clean but in between cleaning you were throwing it back into the metal shavings. Aren’t you concerned about that getting into the diff?

  • @PirateGarage

    No there is a screen separating the front from the rear and the end of the diff was welded shut, like I said watch the whole video
