I always longed for a dad like this. Mine had mental illness and never connected at all. Now he's old and ailing and I'm so sad that when he's gone, that's it, my only shot at a father and..idk. I envy girls and women who have a dad that is strong and protective and shows love....❤😢💔 I always tried to find that fatherly love but instead just got repeatedly abused. The vultures all knew I was vulnerable. 💔👁👁 💧

What a beautiful relationship, it’s very pure love from him to her , no conditions, he stills love her even what she did to him, it’s rare to find it even between families

That moment when they dance.. that’s probably my favorite moment of this show! They r such an adorable father-daughter pairing! I love watching them play off each other

From the very beginning, the plot focusing on a Father daughter relationship that is hard to piece together. Despite all the odds, love, Protection, care for his daughter in a shadowy manner as a father..Superb.!

James acting by far supercede all others. His references.. Expressions and unconditional love for his lizzy. Wow

What a beautiful parent child relation they have. Only a parent would go to this level for their child.

i seriously can't believe she picked her mother who only uses her for answers that could possibly save her life... red has looked after her all the time and there's definitely no doubt about how much he loves her. yes she does have a right to hear those answers but she needs to accept the fact that some answers may not be appropriate for her to know. it's extremely annoying and frightening how she is always trying to dig up information about his past when she should rather focus on HIM as a person, because that, no matter if biologically related or not, is her father.

I am 100% sure that red is the father. in season 1 there is a scene where red with no shirt he has burn marks on his back which means he managed to survive form the shot gun of Liz and the house on fire when everyone thought his was dead.
