what I really liked about this is how it looks back on jassons childhood. and in that sense he is a product of gotham in the way that his dad was abusive, worked in crime, mother was the same way and what hit home was how realistic and real that is for some people and also gives Jason that much more justification for his rules on killing

@@aristobazidis1855 Jason is just as skilled if not more. Bruce simply has more experience and expensive tools. You forget Batman trained him. Talia gave him the best of the best mentors. And Jay’s 20… Bruce can put up a fight but he’d lose

Soulkey sbr I agree. However they really need to change the writer on Justice league. It should be one of their best titles but hitch just can't do it. The only issue that I read and actually really liked was issue 12, which is a tie in to justice league vs suicide squad.

Super happy Artemis is back in DC comics. loved her brief time as Wonder woman and feel she is a very underused/loved character! I also love the idea of an anti hero mirror version of the trinity.

This was definitely my second favorite out of rebirth. Great writing and great comedic timing to add.

Sweg yo Sweg definitely start with Superman if you're fairly new to comics and DC, but if you've been around the block so to say I would go with Titans. And if you want to learn more psychologically about the characters (batman, Superman and Wonder Woman) then definitely check out trinity. Besides trinity is amazing so far. Hope that helps

They _are_ called The Dark Trinity. It's literally the name of Volume 1 of Red Hood and the Outlaws Rebirth (the volume that this video covers).

It's always the moments with Jason and Bruce in the end that save these stories and make them so impactful. Just like the arc in the New 52 Outlaws when each member goes into the maze but has to sacrifice their most precious memory to the gate keeper and as they return they are given that memory back except Jason refuses to take it back and you flashback to a night when Jasons too sick to be Robin and even Bruce takes the night off to take care of him. Powerful stuff!

2 things: 1. Freeze-vision, not freeze breath. 2. regular Kryptonite does nothing to Bizarro.

I have all the issues so far and it's amazing I'm glad you covered it Rob.

I am LOVING this series. Rebirth did this one right. I'm a huge fan of Red hood and having Bizarro and Artemis as his new team is way better than the previous.

Okay man awesome video loved it! I think what we have here in the Outlaws basically an antihero Justice League. Basically you're starting off with the Red Hood who's basically Batman but the extreme version, Bizarro basically Superman extreme and kind of dumb and with basically same Powers but in different ways and of course you have Artemis which is Wonder Woman basically speaking. DC is do this quite masterfully to match up with the upcoming Justice League movie. The thing I don't understand is that if they can tie the comic books into the movies why they can't buy the TV shows into the movies the way that Marvel does?

I loved this story and the art is amazing

This is my favorite series in Rebirth,It's sooooooooooooo good.

I love this strictly because it's the outcast or the supes and wonder woman and Batman families. this is what I though the original outlaws were going to be and now someone sets it, the outlaws should breed there own line and I hope it goes so far as to give birth to a dark Justice league of sorts... thank you so much Rob you just saved my faith in comics. no more X-Men hurt my heart especially Colossus.

I only recently started reading superhero comics because of DC Rebirth, and this was one of the titles that got me hooked (the other being The Flash). I can say with absolute certainty that if Lobdell hadn't gone to the trouble to explain Black Mask's motives to newbies like me, I would have been utterly confused by this story, instead of being wowed by its awesomeness.

Rob! I really love how you tell these stories and I'm wondering if you could check out DC character by the name of Anarky or Lonnie Machin. He's had his own series with 8 issues total. I think the first Issue is Abberation! part 1 powerplay and his first appearance is in Detective comics no. 608. I believe he's a reoccurring character in Tim Drake's career as Robin. He isn't that well known as a Batman villian as I feel he's under utilised because he's a character that could bring batman's methods into question much like Jason todd in Under the Hood.
