Peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence glowstick reactions can work with a variety of sensitisers. The procedure is based on the details in this paper pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ed05... with 2 alterations: 1) the solvent is ethyl acetate rather than dimethyl phthalate 2) bis(2.4.6-tribromophenyl) oxalate (TBPO) was used instead of bis(2.4.6-trichlorophenyl) oxalate (TCPO).
