Facts!💯 I remember playing this as soon as I get home. I literally would play this game on repeat. Lol. Or even Gun was a good one although it wasn’t made from rockstar I think. But I liked it.

Pig Josh was the most terrifying boss to fight against. Until you figure out the exploit of getting and getting off the turret to make him run away

The worst boss is Mr. Black raged soooo much.

Imagine in rdr or rdr2, you help a stranger on a side mission and after doing all the parts, you get a big reward: lots of money, a powerful new sidearm, and the npc says to you: "Much Obliged" before disappearing? Be an awesome way to prove canon.

IDK but there's something about the Red Dead stories that always keep me me wanting more.

Not only that but if rockstar hadn't come in and got the rights to make red dead revolver, then they probably wouldn't have been able to make red dead redemption as it has such a similar title just replacing the "revolver" with "redemption" and also cause its both a wild west game. Maybe capcom would have selled the rights to rockstar but at the same time rockstar might not have even though of a wild west game if not for red dead revolver. So then after red dead redemption they made red dead redemption 2. But if it wasn't for red dead revolver and rockstar deciding to intervene with the creation and make it into their own, rdr1 and 2 probably wouldn't have been created. So people need to give red dead revolver more credit than it gets.

Rockstar has already stated Revolver is in a separate continuity from Redemption though, so even if he's mentioned in the Redemption games, there's no chance of ever meeting him.

I was 6 in 2006 when I played this. The whole game is ingrained in my memory and will be forever. Red Dead Revolver and RDR are my favorites. RDRII has amazing physics graphics and gameplay but the originals are always much better. Revolver has a griping story, and RDR feels much more real, desperate, and has a much darker atmosphere than RDRII.

I was the same age as you and I love all of the Red Dead series but I got to disagree with your last statement, RDR2 Is definitely the best in terms of story, immersion and realism. The world is so detailed that it legitimately feels like it's alive.

Damn so glad they continued with Red Dead Iv heard of this game but this was the first time seeing it

I think Capcom was originally going to make this game, however Rockstar picked up the title and changed literally everything into this masterpiece.

I remember renting this game from my local Blockbuster. I found the duels with more than two people to be difficult. I also remember this had a local multiplayer you could duel and have deathmatches with AI bots, it was a fun game.

I’ve glitched my way into Mexico, and Canada. I can tell you there is hours of endless map that’s already been rendered. Look out for a huge map expansion in years to come.

me and my brother figured out if you won on top balcony of the Alamo in split screen mode the camera will glitch to the chest area of the player, my main was one of the saloon girls and it was quite the discovery the first time around

1 hour is like finishing the first 2 mission in red dead 2

Red Dead Revolver which Red Dead Redemption was based on was more like a Spanish-Italian Western of the 60's and 70's and the characters had a real primitive look about it and the supporting characters were like something you would see on Wild Wild West or Brisco County Jr. the only thing I didn't like was the poor look gun holsters.

Just so people know, the guy who voiced Red Harlow also played Steve Haines

Be good to get a remake or a continuation of Red's story.
