Red Dead Redemption 2 - W.E.R.O. (Western Euphoria Ragdoll Overhaul) - Euphoria Ragdoll Mod

W.E.R.O is perhaps the best known and most used RDR2 euphoria ragdoll mod. While each of the available ragdoll overhauls offers their own flavor on AI reacting with the physics of a game engine, WERO offers some reaction stage content that I almost can’t go without after seeing. The mod creator put some serious thought into how things play out after that projectile finds its target and it shows.
W.E.R.O is the first of two Euphoria Ragdoll Mod from Synthetic Outlaw (AngryWolf). It offers everything in terms of factoring in ammunition types and velocity/distance to unlucky target. WERO also interfaces well with other well regarded mods like 1899 Firearms and It contains an optional file folder that you can place into LML folder along with the mod content should you want to have Heavier Bodies. The most important factor when evaluating euphoria ragdoll mods is the initial phase- this phase sets the ped on a path toward various physical things in their environment. Perhaps WERO’s strongest quality is that these initial reactions often amount to an interesting and sensational sequence of events that often ends in we the player saying things like: “That was awesome”, or: “Oh wow, did that just happen?”… and occasionally something to the effect of: “I’m going to hell for that”..
The mod author's most recent Euphoria Ragdoll Mod is A.E.M (Authentic Euphoria Motions). It offers more of a technically realistic physics style. I go between both of these because they both introduce immersive physics well. It just depends what you’re looking for- Action movie, Realistic, or a little of both… Be sure to check out A.E.M and the other three available RDR2 Euphoria videos in this mods showcase series.
The purpose of this series to provide some examples of RDR2 characters experiencing.. gun shots .. arrows too... in order to give you a sense of what each Euphoria Mod does. Each video in this series has been carefully put together with consideration for what the Euphoria Mod does (and how it differs from Vanilla or other Euphoria mods). The multitude of strung-together clips should cover just about every possible NPC reaction.. But... There are so many possibilities when you factor in the game environment. I hope you enjoy these videos and check out Euphoria Ragdoll Mods if you haven’t had the chance to yet.
This Mod Showcase Video was done with the following Mods Enabled:
- W.E.R.O (Western Euphoria Ragdoll Overhaul) by Synthetic Outlaw (AngryWolf)
- Blood Lust (Specifically the Blood Bath optional install)* by WhyEm
- P.D.O (Ped Damage Overhaul with optional files in LML) ** by HJ and fitfondue
- All Shots Cause Bleedouts by Professor AND Morrigan
* The Standard Blood Lust install option is recommended by most of the authors of these mods, however it really comes down to personal preference as in my case)
** Be sure to Edit the PDO ini file, enabling Euphoria Ragdoll Mod support (make sure that the line regarding Euphoria Ragdoll compatibility is enabled i.e. has a "1" after the line. See the description in the ini file - it’s quite intuitive and a very quick yet important step should you want to use PDO and Euphoria Mods concurrently).
Switching Between Euphoria Mods between Offline Game Sessions:
You can only use one Euphoria Mod at a time because they involve the physics file. Switching between different ragdoll mods is as easy as moving in and out of the LML folder between sessions.
Because I enjoy each one of these Ragdoll Mods, I find myself doing this quick process every other time I launch a game session, This is probably atypical as most will find the one that suits them best for what they are looking for (so check out each video in this series, I had this in mind when creating these Euphoria Mod Showcase videos because I had limited material when first checking out these mods and had no idea exactly which one did what).
The Mod Showcased in this video was created by Synthetic Outlaw (AKA AngryWolf) and is available for download at Nexus Mods. Be sure to also check out the author’s latest creation A.E.M. as well. Both offer something that greatly improves a nearly perfect game.
These Videos are my way of thanking the Mod Creators for their work. Be sure to support the mod creators if you can. (I unfortunately made way too many bad options trades in the last year to thank them in the more traditional sense).

Sorry for delay - The PDO (Ped damage overhaul) and I honestly use them all because I'm making a massive film out of thousands of clips and want it to be well balanced. The one that is featured in this video is WERO, by AngryWolf , who is also the creater of AEM. WERO has been updated since this to be really really awesome. The changes I have noticed are new shooting - beating - peds on benches animations and new shotgun reactions but I swear I have noticed more. Since I published these Euphoria Ragdoll Overhaul Videos I have been non stop (almost 3 months) on a massive 1 hour and 43 minute full feature that I am going to upload on April 14. After that is done I am going to revisit these Euphoria Ragdoll mods to create a more comprehensive and informative video demonstrating specific changes they bring to the experience in unique ways. Probably about 10 min videos for all of them but really dense with much more substance than these videos. For a setup like in this video, Rampage or JediJosh's Trainer (or NAtive which I believe comes with scripthook) - they have an option where everyone ignores player - that is something I sometimes set a short cut key for with rampage via F12 and key assign because at times its nice to have or not have. Whyem's Bloodlust provides the increased blood which is a big part of the formula - I got the optional Blood Bath version which I imagine is the most bloody, yet they say in other mods to pair with standard Blood Lust which might be more realistic. Ped Damage Overhaul is a game changer - I went into the ini file and adjusted some things, but its pretty standard right from the download - there are other options for it, but I believe this is mostly standard. I may have adjusted the overall health of the NPCs or cops to a higher or lower stay down and die painful deaths when health drops under X amount etc - I will have to check. The Euphoria mods are straightforward to - as long as you only have one of them in the LML folder they will work reliably - I have Anymyo's Cinematic loaded right now, but it changes because I like them all - PDO (ped damage overhaul) , WERO (this), and Whyem's bloodlust - and I almost forgot a mod called "just F*cking Bleed already" which replaced All shots cause bleedouts (which I believe was what I used when recording this video) - there is a head bleedout one I have been playing around with, but for an experience like this I would recommend the ones I just listed. They would be placed in LML folder - and if they for some reason don't work let me know because I have three different versions of the game (like 1311 etc) on three different computers that just so I could test every mod when they come out - Some require an older file at times and i remember it was a pain in the ass to find out which ones on reddit etc - so if I can be of help just let me know, hopefully I have the answers.

I think at that time it was called advanced combat something - I recently started to use GunFX - I'm just trying to figure out how to stop the zooming in when i draw a weapon ... and the annoying deadeye bassy sound whenever someone dies when game slowed down under 100%. Those two things eat away at me these days... sorry for delay.

on this video 1311, on the volume 3 im about to release its 1436.28, and upgraded decade old gpu for one thats a couple old - but i think the difference in my new setup is that i cant get vestigia to work with 1436.28 and went to collyrium, which is why i have both versions installed , but its hard to not use the newer one as the one i did all my videos with including this now seems washed out

how do you actually install this mod ?

  • @Red_Dead_Director

    @Red_Dead_Director

    5 ай бұрын

Lets assume someone just installed the game and nothing else as a starting point: You first want to go to a place like nexus mods and download Lenny's Mod Loader (LML) then you want to identify your game folder - quickest way to do is to right click the icon you launce the game with, then click in the pop up window 'show file location'. Then you want to copy LML into that folder (so when done you will have a Red Dead Redemption 2 folder (your game folder) and then inside of it there will be a folder called LML. Then you can drop most mods into that folder and they will work (without a mod loader application even) - there are a couple others you will want to download an just drop into your game folder (these are ASI loader and Scripthook) - I don't know if they are needed for WERO, but for mods in general it's important to have that foundation (including LML) Now for WERO, assuming everything above is completed or in place - You would download WERO from Nexus or RDR2 Mods , then its important to identify Exactly which folder from it you will copy into you game folder/mod folder ( example: C:/Games/Red Dead Redemption 2/LML ) Wero has two versions that come with the default download - one is a 5 second delay and the other is a standard delay - I use the 5 second delay - so I would take the folder that says: W.E.R.O (Longer Reaction Time (5.0 seconds)) and put it in the LML folder Its important that any folder you put into lml has an install.html in the root of it (usually along side other subfolders) A majority of the mods are literally copy and paste into your game directory (designed to drop what's needed in the root game folder and what's needed in the lml folder). If you ever want to turn it off you can use a mod manager (lennys mod manager for instance) but I just make a folder outside my game folder and cut and past stuff out of LML when I don't want to use it. Once you do that above step you should be seeing the euphoria ragdoll physics when playing next - if you decide to try a different one in the future, you just want to make sure you don't have two euphoria mods in the lml folder - example CERR and WERO folder in lml - you would just make sure there's one and it will always work fine., Again, everything is pretty easy to install for rdr2 mods in general - the most important thing to do is to get the foundation built (which is also just drop into game folder essentially) - and that to my knowledge without looking involves downloading Scripthook, ASI loader, and Lennys Mod Loader. Most mods go into lml, but scripts (asi files) generally go in the root - its pretty much either or and they have a brief one line instruction thats easy to follow when downloading the mod. In case you or anyone runs into issues: By getting the latest versions of the foundation (the ASI and Scripthook, LML) it should work with a steam or other legit version every time. If you are using a different version of the game (for whatever reason, there's legit reasons people do this for sure) you might need to use older versions or combos of versions (it can get pretty techincal) - If you are someone reading this and have this issue you can always hit me up and I'll be glad to help. I've worked with all versions of the game and I'm making a mod tutorial slowly over several months now so this stuff is fresh in my head -
