Edit: I'd like to note that literally all I was doing was pointing out that Marcus was not necessarily angry, I am not defending the blatant failure of psychoanalysis of an entire group of speed runners they committed.

Wow, I can't believe that Jezs guy faked his world record like that. It's a good thing we had someone like Jezs to set the record straight. Still, it's a shame Jezs managed to hide it for so long until Jezs called him out on it. We need more people like Jezs, to protect us against people like Jezs. Jokes aside, I never heard of this game before, but I ended up watching the whole video. Very entertaining.

Jezs is the perfect example of not only guilt being a deadly weapon. But also someone who fell way downhill but than climbed back up. It's pretty damn inspiring.

Wow, this is quite a high quality documentation of the speedrunning history, with a lot of intrigue, drama, and complicated gameplay. This video deserves hundreds of thousands of views.

Yeah, that's how splicing works. It doesn't denote a players skill, but rather their patience. Jezs clearly had the skill to pull it off, just not the patience to do it all in one go.

I cannot understate this: This might be the best video to ever exist. I used to play Red Ball as a kid. I thought as a joke recently: what if there was a summoning salt style video on red ball

I got to the part where Rareeg came back to claim WR and was like “aight, that was a good vid and a cool way to end it” and was about to close tab when i saw i was halfway through the video. Then i saw who uploaded it! Rollercoaster of emotions

When it showed "ItsMaximum" had started running the game, I stopped and thought "I heard that name before... Maybe they commented?" not realising you made the video lol

Imagine creating a world record progresion video so good that it's partly responsible for making itself outdated.

I am so glad that this video is as long as it is. I have seen a lot of world record progression videos before, but I feel like this one has a full 20 minute long speedrun progression video for each phase of a categories lifetime.

I keep coming back to this video, something about your content is so entertaining and no matter how many times I watch your videos they still never bore me.

I love how KZread decided to make Redball super popular through this single video. Most of the people who saw this video have probably played Redball 4 in Coolmath.

Unironically a really, really, really great video. Well-produced, well-edited, and a great showcase of how this great community came to be. Also, for any new runners out there, I highly recommend playing the fifth game in the series, Red Ball 5. It's a little underrated because it's not an official game in the series, but it's a very neat game nonetheless. Please play it, I am begging you.

pretty cool story, it seems the community for this game was pretty cool, that clip from the discord call when the guy got the record was really nice and i like how several of you took part in narrating/producting this.

What a great video I clicked it out of curiosity and stayed for the whole video. I got so invested in this history I was so hype and jumped when WR 3:19 was achieved. Great editing and so interesting to see how this game and community developed.
