Hellz yeah Red Arc time

Much appreciate the guide on her. Have to wait for my adapter for my switch to use my normal controller because I'm having way too many misinput issues to use Red Arc reliably. Was gonna just be easy with Ciel but....I want Red Arc lol. Been on the watch for any guides as to how to use her tools better, and I knew her teleports could be really good for movement, so it's nice to see some demonstration of it, just makes me like her all the more.

@@NuggyJones I haven't used her in a live match, haven't done a live match at all. With switch joycons I find myself not getting my specials off 40% of the time and all the time I'm moon bursting mid combo and screwing myself out of a combo and taking free damage and wasting my meter... So just been spending the time learning characters and seeing how I feel about using them. Ciel is a tried and true zoner with basically full screen punish zoning more so then vlov. What she lacks in not having a rekka, she more then makes up for with being speedy, agile and having some amazing retreat moves and a super cheap free "get off me" kick that is also an effective anti-air. And if you don't wanna play her as a zoner....she is blessed with an airborne multi-mixup with an optional command grab.....she's kind of a beast. I feel like in terms of zoning, vlov is better at pinning ppl to a distance or being able to rush assault them with his rekka mixup, bit ciel basically can zip in and out freely and she is never exactly with her back to the wall. I actually like ciel....but she just ain't red arc lol ^^"

one good situation for the j.2C pickup is after 3C or after doing the launcher from shield. You just do j.2C as soon as you can after it launches them, and you can pick them back up with 5A (and maybe 2B with tight timing, i don't remember) and go into a bnb, though you'll have to do something jump cancellable if you want to go into the air after that, as the launcher will have already been spent for that combo.

Great video, just have a question for one of the routes, why does it seem rng to jump into her aerial 2c from 236b? I'm having a LOT of issues confirming it and want to experiment with that option, it may just be an execution thing as well as the autocombos taking over. I'm struggling with it.

So this is something I don't even fully know! The aerial 2c is very wonky and it seems that the later the combo goes the easier it is they fall out. I've only found it be consistent when I have 236b start the combo. It also could be not jumping early enough, as even though 236b does a lot of hits, you need to jump almost as soon as it hits and instantly start 2C, or else it will drop. Doing 2C or the jump too late may be the source of your struggles!

@@NuggyJones That seems to be the case, thanks for giving your input. I did it for about 20 minutes and got the link twice. Once again good video, I have trouble finding out what a character is intended to do in 2d fighters so this helped a lot!

@@JobuuLive Im glad! I very much struggled with them so never even attempted until later in Dragon Ball, and now I love them haha. Thats whats inspired me to start all this and aim to build it up, I think these games are so fun and many would enjoy, it can just be hard to get those first blocks to start building ones own style. The more perspectives one absorbs, the better! ^ ^

What about corner pressure and when to use her moon DP?

So while I can't say definatively, she can hold opponent with the discs and her jump b's if they try to jump out the corner. The moon move also decent here because you can jump cancel Keep in mind its not invincible like a DP. Tough it can be decent on wake up as it is so fast. Its mainly combo extender or just fast reversal
