Argumenter_Respecter It’s not a bad game per say, it just didn’t have anything different. Japanese “symbolism” was the fad and it went away. The acting was cringe and took itself too seriously. Kane was a legend, why take him out and cheapen the game?

@@purevessel The characters portrayal are bad, that I can agree. Like holy shit, I can't find one female character that's not fanserviced. The gameplay though, I feel it's the most 'balanced' out of the other RA games, especially since navy is just as important now. That left quite a mark on me.

It's nice that there is still some people who love the CnC games to spend time to mod them to this level.

RTS is largely a dead genre largely due to how the overall fandom treated newcomers and how they kept forcing the genre to largely stay stagnant by crashing anyone that didn't cater exclusively to them. RTT (real time tactics) is has a revitalization as of late, surprisingly enough, thanks to the Wargame/WARNO series and games like Regiments. It's why Starcraft/Warcraft rules RTS with an iron fist, because Blizzard understood what the RTS fandom was against but genres like FPS flocked to: smoothing out the accessibility _cliff._ There is a very good video about accessibility (and how it isn't difficulty) out there, and another about why Starcraft rules RTS with an iron fist...

Those talking about corona virus must be just came from YT recommended and not the real RA fans, real fans will talk about stability of each unit, unit model design etc., all topic about the game. Let's me clarify, the modder's chinese name “日冕” is the sun's corona, not the corona virus. Just google translate it and you will get the "corona" as the translation result too. Definition for those not understand: The rarefied gaseous envelope of the sun and other stars. The sun's corona is normally visible only during a total solar eclipse when it is seen as an irregularly shaped pearly glow surrounding the darkened disk of the moon. For those talking about corona virus here, you're at the wrong channel and just get the F- out from this channel !

Fantastic! The Union Class is what the RA3 Apocalypse should have been! You even improved the RA3 Apocalypse too! I adore the Glowing Tesla Reactor on the Rear of it! The Rhino's are delightfully chunky too, the launched mines are a great feature too.

@@FatVaderStudio yeah id say its straight up Object 268 by how everything looks....ISU 152 is alot more square with a bulge for the gun than Object 268's conical-ish turret shape (not really turret but just to refer the gun part) as well as the spike style front glacis

As much as I am a mech guy, there is an objective beauty of seeing tanks of all sizes with their firepower and armor slowly marching towards some poor bastard that isn't you

Soviets apparently went even further back in time, since their tank model somehow is still from ww3. Though i cannot believe you also added Obj. 268 into the mod! Plus, i like that you made their TD actually be useful, and not like Allied german TD (which noone used except bots), i wonder how you made the allied td there tho, so i will be waiting for allied ground video too

Acturlly they plan to replace Hammer tank with Rhino in the very early stage of mod(I believe its like before they make cruisers), they even did something like "Notes from the field" of RA3 for it, and calling it "Rhino B"

The Soviet engineer take out blue print of Rhino, and put in some technology from Apocalypse, then the brand new Rhino B is roll in the battle field. ---Corona dev log

It's not _that_ bad. If anything China will be healthy and immune by the time the rest of the world will have hundreds of thousands in casualties. In fact it'll be quite karmic if the socialist countries will withhold the cure from capitalist fucks that have been brutally suppressing socialists and communists for multiple centuries. Well...kinda like Anti-everything gun but only weakpoint is turretless so it's not much mobility.

also I think that the Rhino Tank should be renamed the Anvil Tank. Make a 'Hammer Walker', A tank turret on legs to provide hard hitting mobility.

Union Heavy Tank is a bit redundant in purpose due to the Apocalypse Tank existing. A bit of reassessment might be needed when it comes to either repurposing either tank, or one replacing the role of the other.

Great stuff! Few notes: - I personally miss old grinder on Apocalypse and stealgun on small tank. - If Union is bigger than Apocalypse - it must have 3 guns. Logic - small one with single gun, bigger one with 2 guns, and biggest with 3 guns!! =D

Union Heavy Tank remind me of Overlord Rank from Generals, but it have missile and fireport instead of 3 additional upgrade, plus its kinda like the true reincarnation and improved version of Apocalypse tank (the new RA3 Apocalypse tank doesnt had missile event on Corona mod, although in the Corona's RA3 Apocalypse tank Concept Art the tank have missile launcher)

That last scene shows that AI needs some work to help it keep units in formation

i wana play this mod so much now please release the beta :D

wonder if they are going to update the infantry aswell. Would be cool to see some sort of spetsnaz unit make an appearance or maybe change the conscript attire from a heavy coat to military fatigues

Models look wonderful, but I'm confused about two units and their abilities. How do the Rhino's mines work? It seemed like the Guardian tanks were shooting at the mines at first, but then just ran over them anyway. Secondly, does the Apocalypse tank still have it's tractor beam? Or is it's only 'ability' to explode after death now?

They'll turn invisible after a few seconds. When use this spell again, all old mines will disappear. The beam is still there.

Thank god you guys got rid of the Hammer tank. That thing was cancer, design-wise.

This video gave me RA2 soviet tank rush flashbacks.

The union heavy tank could use a little touchups to look more like this www.bronetehnika.narod.ru/tg/tg_11.jpg at least conceptually. The main turret should be smaller, and separate from the bunker area of the tank. The missile launchers could be mounted in separate turrets as well.
