Another thing I liked about this game was that people's arms took damage too when blocking really hard shots, especially kicks. Fighters like Overeem (if I remember right) used to like to blast kicks into people's guards till they just couldn't take them anymore. I know it's a tactic Canelo likes to use in boxing, too. He will just brutalize people's arms till they think twice about tightening their guard.

The Coleman fights just shows again that this is the best ufc game. Coleman was super aggressive in the first round. Took a bunch of damage in the second. The A.I saw this and Coleman fought way more cautious. Incredible.

Edit how the hell don't we have title chase/defense mode anymore? Just remembered it I'd spend hours in that mode trying to break my own high score

Literally just ordered ufc undisputed 3 bc I never played this. Became a huge mma fan during the pandemic and have gone back and watched basically all the pride fights and wished there was a pride game, had no idea these existed

Martial I have an even better career mode idea for you, it'll be all the more exciting if you've never Heard of it or played it. Look up Def jam fight for new York it's one of the best fighting games I've ever played it has all types of rap icons in it as fighters and it incorporates fighting styles in it such as kickboxing, wrestling, submissions, martial arts and street fighting. It has a fully fledged career mode too where you create your own character and fight for dominance in the underground fighting scene. Hopefully you see this and consider it for a play through it would be amazing to see your reactions to the game.
