recreating Sandy Liang's flower power scrunchie at home :: diy with judie ✂️

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This week, I attempt to recreate the flower power scrunchie by Sandy Liang. I took my time and made one a day but really, I'd say it'd take 4 hours max for any beginner crafter to make one. I'm absolutely OBSESSED with how they turned out so please do give this a try!
Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. Thank you for supporting my itty bitty channel and I hope to see you in the next video. Tchau 💕
note: i filmed this a while back when the scrunchies were all sold out, but if you're looking to buy one, they have them restocked on their website!

Same! The 1st method is waaay less work and the yarn gives it a nice pop of colour 😊

I honestly dont think the original has stuffing material. I believe the structure comes from the seam allowance and interfacing. It looks like the satin fabric may have iron on interfacing. The first method with interfacing and a bigger center hole pre scrunch might work.

True! I didn't think of that! There is just so much volume in the original photos I immediately thought - stuffing. lol and yeah I completely agree with having a bigger centre hole pre scrunch! It gives it that extra volume and looks more aesthetically pleasing with all that gathering 🥰

Looking at unboxing videos with ppl interacting with the original garments also helps photos are misleading. Great video!
