as a person who lives where tiktok ban persists, it’s trickier than that - vpn won’t help, you need a new account connected to phone number from another country to see and create tiktoks

i just dropped tiktok altogether after realizing how much hassle it would be (you need the foreign SIM card to be in the phone + vpn working so you could use the app… same with tiktok on the browser)

Honestly the Superhero Dad was kinda wholesome. The editing is pretty decent, and he seems to just be living his action hero fantasy. My mom can’t even connect a device to the TV, and this dude is making mini action movies by himself. I’m kinda impressed.

I have also noticed the Ai/photoshop confusion, mostly with the boomers on Facebook. Before it was ai stuff and they’d call it photoshop, now they’ll call photoshoped things ai. Like no y’all, there’s a big difference. One takes talent, skills, and a lot of time, even if it’s not completely real. The other is entering a prompt and takes no skill.
