I filtered after nitric acid, my solution contained palladium and copper, then I added sodium carbonate to it according to the instructions in your video, then I threw 2 pieces of aluminum into the solution, but the deposited palladium was white. He used sodium carbonate to neutralize the solution for it to not be acidic, then he proceed to put some aluminum to cement less reactive metal, in this case platinum, the process, from that point works for any precious metal.

If you dissolved it into the Aqua Regia then yes. When refining you always check your solutions for PM values and recover them if it is cost effective.
