As a single mom of 3 I just wanna take a moment to thank God for allowing me to make it through the tough times. It's not always easy raising children on your own. Especially when you have no support system. And sometimes you just wanna end it all and give up. But I stayed strong and held on to my faith and continued loving and raising my kids. This wasn't a simple case of depression this was definitely a mental health emergency. The police should never have walked away not after reading that report that they wrote. We need a mental health emergency crew that can be called out any evaluate these situations so they do not escalate in death and our police departments all of them need better training for mental health issues they are failing miserably in this area. This could have been prevented but the police department failed them miserably may they rest in peace.

Yeah because they feel isolated in motherhood and the fathers most of the time be absent, the family members told them to get over it when the moms desperately needed a break to feel human again, but nope, they turned her away and then when the mothers committed Filicide, all of the sudden, they "didn't" know, but they knew, they just don't care. This doesn't take away the accountability the mothers that harms children should get, she should face prison time, but there's blood on more than one hand.

I'm sorry. I have no sympathy for the mother or father. They should go the same way those little angels went. Hog tied. It's time for neighbors to do more. Somebody heard those babies. What about the school. What about the criminal records of both parents. The parents,the system, so called cops and society are failing these innocent people.

This is so terribly heartbreaking. I’m grateful that my two adopted grandchildren’s mom had the sense to call my daughter when she did. She threw a bag of clothes at her and said take them I don’t want them anymore. I feel so sad for these poor babies. My condolences to the family.

Those two babies are no longer suffering. As a mother myself I know how hard times can be raising children but it gets better. That women must have been suffering from some mental health and it’s unfortunate she didn’t get the help she needed.

I'm so sorry, the Son & Daughter never had a fair chance in life. My Heartfelt Sympathy for theses two beautiful children. Rest in Heaven Angels. When is the senseless killing of our innocent kids gonna stop. ❤️🙌🕊️💕🎈

Sad really. The state would rather send them to foster care services than permanent homes, and that’s every state not just one.

How to help children...Support their parents living with mental illness or just struggling with their mental health. It's easy to villify this woman but if she's was hearing voices,why wasn't she getting the mental health help/support she needed. Why did her family/baby daddy and the police leave the children in her care when clearly she wasn't in her right mind. If she was a danger to herself and those around her ...then everyone is culpable in the murder of these two innocent kids. This doesn't mean all people who are struggling with their mental health/living with a mental illness are bad parents or violent,it just means it's vital that they are supported all round. God's law is written on your heart and you know you are guilty but you've never been told there is a way God can show you mercy without violating justice. I've been hurt before and there isn't anything that feels better than a true comforter and true security after being hurt. God has done that for these children. A real feeling of security allows you to release the pain and heal. These children are healed from the injuries caused by their parents and they _know_ they are safe.
