For me as well. I got to love BF1's soundtrack so much, that sometimes i did not even play, just stayed in the menus, turned up the volume and just sat there letting in the music.

Absolutely! The soundtracks in souls, destiny, nier automata and final fanatasy 7 to me really made the whole experience even more epic.

I just love this series’s music. I swear it has some of the best songs in it.

I don't think they put this much effort into 2042. And being modern isn't an excuse, you could absolutely have an emotional soundtrack produced with classical instruments for a modern game. Dice please!

I actually hum the theme song in the shower / in my car on the way to work & it just amps me for my day!

One of the most amazing things coming back to this is how perfect it sounds through this camera. The perfect recording is one where it captures what you hear in that room

Battlefield DICE quality the best.

yah the music has always been one of my favorite parts of battlefield. I really brings to life the environmental mood and the game would not be the same without it. I really liked all the BF1 tracks so much that I put it on my phone to listen to while working my construction job .

This is the passion and talent EA is fucking up with their decisions. Just let DICE, the musicians and the artists do their job and the money will come!

Listening to this on headphones is so amazing, so relaxing.

Westie, I play music in college, and this kind of content is very interesting and highly appreciated. Thank you! I'm always thinking about what it's like to play these pieces, what it's it like to see/hear them live, and what kind of work it takes.

Battlefield has what I think a lot of other FPS games lack, a defined musical style and theme. When you hear a Battlefield song you immediatly recognize it. Everyone knows and loves the classic Battlefield theme. The only other franchise that I can think of that has this is Halo, and it is sorely missed in other franchises.

Imagine in your head the organ from the interstellar theme in the background it fits perfectly

Having been lucky enough to work on several game music projects I can vouch for the huge amount of work that goes into them (especially when there's dynamic/adaptive music involved!). Really enjoyed this video

I came to this years-old video to see if anyone else caught the rampant musical theft in this soundtrack. My bf is playing through the game; I am a musicologist. So far I have heard "Jupiter" from Holst's "Planets" and the main theme from the soundtrack for The Day After Tomorrow. I am dying to get to the end credits to see if the composers of these sundry themes (including the one you found) are credited. I mean, stealing from Holst is one thing because he is long dead. But stealing from still-living composers is REALLY ballsy if they aren't credited...

Just found this video, after I've been listening to the BF5 soundtrack for almost a week, while programming/working. Amazing, and reminds me of the times I've attended a few Movies in Concert showings. Having the orchestra live is just breathtaking. The first one a saw was "how to train your dragon", and ended up being a grown man sobbing for 15 min due to the shear overwhelment. Soundtracks are so important... The first ever game-theme, that got me to hang in the menues, was Medal of Honor - Allied Assault.... Michael Giacchino... just EPIC! Anyways... stay safe gents and ladies! Cheers, DD

Let's not forget BF1, which is one of the best sound tracks in any game I've heard.

Such a beautiful change to the usual dubstep shite most FPS use nowadays. They knock it out of the park with Battlefield One and now they knocked it into orbit with Battlefield V.

The beginning kind of reminds me of the Revenant. Love Dice’s soundtrack and audio design team.
