I've got the same problem as the guys below. I try to record a guitar track, having correctly assigned the source in the in the Inspector as Right Stereo In but the track is empty and when I play back it is silent..

Hello! So whenever I try to record it says too many tracks recording even though I’m only recording in one…any clue how to fix that?

It's not clear what could be causing that issue. Have you tried increasing the buffer size for your audio interface at all? for the Audio I get Stereo in 1 Links Rechts. what is that? and what does it not say RIGHT and LEFT?

recording doesnt work for me. I am getting no sound, and when i stop recording, it doesnt save the track.

hey du danke für das tutorial :) hat soweit alles geklappt, nur habe ich hab da noch ne frage, und zwar sind auf meiner aufgenommenen audiospur in cubase 13 überall so gestrichelte linien zwischen meinen ausschlägen. ist das normal, soll das so sein, oder heißt das ich habe überall artefakte von grundrauschen oder loopback oder keine ahnung bro bin echt überfordert ^^ sieht auf jeden fall kacke aus! danke schonmal für antwort yallah

Klingt die Aufnahme gut, obwohl die Wellenform anders aussieht? Möglicherweise müssen Sie nur hineinzoomen, um die Wellenform detaillierter anzuzeigen. Der vertikale Zoom der Wellenform kann nützlich sein. John // Focusrite UK 🇬🇧 Ich habe Google Translate benutzt

@@FocusriteHelp ja ich denke es klingt schon OK, habe bis jetzt noch keinen Referenz Bezug ob es anderst klingen könnte oder sollte. Raumanteil sollte sich ja in der Wellenform wiedergeben. Aber diese gestrichelten Linien zwischen den Wellenformen sehen irgendwie signalflusstechnisch-störend aus. Danke auf jeden Fall

Hi guys. I got this problem: I switched from a Scarlet 18i8 (1st Gen) to a 18i20 (3rd gen) plus a Clarett+Octopre via ADAT. Synchronization is working fine and I can record 16 channels into Cubase. New Control Software is understood too. But when I use the two new cards, the live level meter in Cubase Shows heavy peaks all the time. That wasn't the case with the 18i8. I searched forums but couldn't find a solution. I only found out, I'm not the only one with that issue. Raising buffer size doesn't help much either. I am appreciating every hint of help I can get. Thank you.

@@FocusriteHelp Thank you for your reply. I activated Cubase's option for "boost audio performance" and that resulted into a small improvement. I'll see, what I can do further more and consider contacting the support of it still remains on that level. Cheers

Thanks but there IS NO FOCUSRITE IN THIS DROPDOWN MENUE! I am really desperate because all videos take for granted that I can choose my 2i4 2nd Gen Focuarite in this Dropdown Menu. That is NOT the case. :-((((

Also make sure to register your device I had the same problem until I registered my Scarlett now I am one happy bunny.

This software doesn"t work at all for me. I don't get a RIGHT and LEFT. It's in German and says "Richt" I have no idea what that is. The Focusrite Scarlett doesn't pick up the mic sounds. Better to do recording the old fashioned way. Old school.
