Don't forget Record Made In England i'm from England UK & i have many Record Made In England Bolt Cutters all different sizes & Record Made In England Vices all different sizes & also a Record Made In England 133 Sash Clamp, We have a huge history here of very very well made tools as well as many other thing's like antiques, silver cutlery & crockery made in all these Cities london & sheffield & yorkshire & coventry just too name a few everything is quality Made In England, Old Tools when tools etc,etc we're made in england a lot of tools still are but unfortunately a lot of steel works & factories have closed down, Unfortunately Record is not made in england anymore like a lot of things not just here but all over the world, Old Tools all the way for me not just British Made Tools But other old tools from different countries i like new tools as well of course as I have a mixture of old & new tools, Old is quality tools etc,etc that will last forever we have many different makers of tools here in the UK which a lot of them are not around anymore like Record Made In England, Record is called Record Irwin which is made in Japan or China & also also Record is made either in japan or china somewhere like that Record Made In England unfortunately is not around anymore they went out of business a very long time ago, There is a video on KZread about it, Old Tools are the way forward they have character & are so well made, I have some tools that are Made In England or somewhere in England like Sheffield etc,etc.

Not only the Record, but almost the entire English instrument of the Victorian era and the beginning of the twentieth century were of exceptional quality. Then Britain was called the "workshop of the world" ... as China is now. Then by law, the words "made in Germany" marked low-quality products if sales in Britain and its colonies. Now you have an economy of services, insurers and money lenders - nothing lasts forever. I have a vise Record and a similar pipe wrench. They came to me from my grandfather, I myself am an old man and they are still in excellent condition. It is not known how they came to us in Russia. If you're interested in your historical heritage, search KZread for “My tiny Workshop.” This English guy is looking for and restoring good old English iron.

@@user-sl3il5sz2s Hi yes i didn't just mean only Record Made In England i meant as well as many other different brands when tools we're made in england some of which still are, I have a collection of old tools made in england, There is many brands some of which are all international possibly, A lot of steel was made in Sheffield & Yorkshire UK including Record & so many other different brands, Yes i have seen his channel plus many other's.

I have and still do restore many Record wrenches. You done a good job but you made it a very long and drawn out process.

How do you fix the coil springs

painting is not interesting. You should have done more metalwork. Explain how you got the pin etc etc

not a restoration, clean up and paint job
