Bob Dylan sang about this snow on his first album released in 1961.
I remember that year well. I was a senior in high school. Most if not all of the snow fell between early December and early February. It was the year of JFK's inauguration which featured a 10" snowfall. I made a lot of money, for those days, shoveling snow.
