Having the Zero on there for the 0 is a nice touch.

Only DVG game I have: By Stealth and Sea. Was kind of interested by tiger leader until 'someone' got his expansion packs & the cards colors on the backs did not match...not even close. This is tickling my interest but I'm going to wait and see what the errata looks like and the expansions, what they look like...or...color match on cards.

I get it Charles. DVG has had some speed bumps along the way with some of their games. I will say they always seem willing to fix the issue by releasing errata packs or sending replacement components. I've also heard that this game, Zero Leader, has very little errata or mistakes. In my limited experience with it so far that is also my impression. But I'm going to need more time with the game before I can form any final opinion.

@@WayneHansen that's fair. BUT. I don't know if magic the gathering ever had a issue on their cards, I know with Yu-Gi-Oh, because my kids dragged me down the Yu-Gi-Oh card collecting hole (I always joked and told people well it makes up for me never having a baseball card collection while I was a kid-well actually I did but my mom had me give them away when we moved to California). If the back of the card did not match you knew 99% sure it was a fake. And I still have all the cards that I collected before I bailed and started going down the x-wing purchase hole... My kids inheritance hahaha

Charles! I can totally understand where you are coming from. I will tell you that the event cards and Target cards match perfectly. I numbered the China expansions targets 46-56 so there will be no confusion. There were a couple typos, but absolutely no “game breaker” errors. I am VERY active on BGG and Facebook, so you can reach me for any questions you might have. Chuck

Thank you for posting here Chuck, it's great to see a designer so active supporting his game.

Thanks for the look at the game! This is one I had the same dilemma as you about whether I needed it or not, so I skipped the kickstarter. Now watching this video, the temptation has hit me anew. At least you get to write such purchases off on your taxes for running the channel, right?

Since I've been playing it, I can say that it's a great addition to the Leader series, and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan! In the case of Zero Leader, it was sent to me by DVG. I should have mentioned that during the video (and thanked DVG).

Short answer: No. This has the most content of any Leader game I've played, and some of the most content I've seen in any wargame. Long answer: The newer Leader games are coming with more and more content. For example while this has 11 countersheets, Corsair Leader comes with 9, and something like Hornet Leader only has 2! You are also getting a lot more cards, especially more pilots and aircraft. Definitely getting your moneys worth in even just the base game.

You also get 15 campaigns (+5 more in the China Expansion), loads of different Japanese aircraft and so many bandits from the I-15 up to P-51 Mustang. Bombers include the B-17 and the B-29. Need I go on? 😜😂 Chuck

Thanks but no thanks DVG! The only leader game I will buy is huey leader that Kevin promised to do as next project for over 4 years now. I am really disappointed with their product policy atm. I own a lot of their games and expansions but as long as they do not make true on their promises I will not spend another buck on DVG games. Thanks for another great video though. Two thumbs up for your excellent content...
