Description: Exploitation can take many forms, including sex trafficking, labor trafficking, and financial or economic exploitation, and can come from caregivers, friends, staff, or others. When working with individuals with disabilities, it can be difficult to recognize the signs of exploitation or even determine if the individual is being exploited. This webinar will discuss different forms of exploration and what they may look like in disability populations and in various contexts. We will also discuss steps that providers can take if they feel that they have identified that an individual with a disability is being exploited.
