As a Nation (apart from a very few bad eggs), when Harry and Meghan married we accepted her with open arms, many thousands greeted her. Meghan had the world at her feet, and along with Harry they destroyed that. Unfortunately now we are known as a country of racists, according to Meghan. Nothing M has ever done or said inspires me. I admire nothing about her or the life she's chosen. The women who inspire me are in my own family tree. Their names would mean nothing to anyone outside the family, but they were tough, strong willed, and independent minded. That doesn't mean they disliked men. Women did not do dirty men's work.. she put on overalls and learned how to fix diesel truck, drove trucks, helped drive ambulance, She stayed on in London with her parents, even though the palace took a direct hit!! I doubt she would have done that without the War. I think Elizabeth was at the cusp of early feminism. Meghan is part of something I’ve heard called second generation feminism. Billy Joel hired her for six months to be his PA, but had to fire her because she used his credit cards for her own personal use and was rude, came in late, or not at all, and nasty when she left, threatening to sue him for defamation. She never paid back any of the money she stole.
