Rebuilding the Grizzly Dirt Sifter

Rebuilding our Grizzly dirt sifter in time for the arrival of our greenhouse and the prep that we need to do to build it. That is, sifting a ton of dirt! This version is more rugged and should be durable enough to last for years.

Brian, Maybe you could put skids on the bottom so you can to it with the tractor to wherever you need it.

That sifter should work great. I built a small hand-shovel version that gave me nice soil to work with as I expanded our garden.

Hog panels have smaller openings, and are built like cattle panels, also cyclone fencing has also be used for those, suggestion IF those don't work. also if you want a finer sift a smaller mech like you used before can be laid over the top of what you have, for strength !!!

I would think you'd be better off thru bolting it together rather than using the wood screws. and maybe chain-link fencing for the grid.

There are some timber bolts & lag bolts in the construction (just not caught on video).

A demonstration in use woulda been a nice ending to the vid.
