Rebuilding My RB25 In 5 Days + Engine Drama

Фильм және анимация

The last 2 weeks have been absolute hell with getting this engine and car ready for another drift competition. Ups and downs but we get there in the end!
I probably should have made this video into 2 parts.
Hope you guys enjoy, get keen for the next one! Thanks for watching :)

    Only you would rebuild an engine, fabricate a car and have it dyno'd twice in 1 video! Well done man, you're a weapon

    Always like watching your vids. Respect for putting in the work not only on your car but behind the computer. I HATE editing, you do a really good job. Its not as easy as it looks sometimes.

    Wow man thanks heaps for the nice comment! Editing is always something that takes me hours todo, sometimes days to get through. It’s all on my phone too.. should probably look into getting a computer but being on the phone I can edit it whenever I want.. makes life much easier.

    It's buzzy how different motors are ae my 25 made 330kw on 15psi stock rebuilt motor only has .20 oversized pistons the tuner sed he normally sees around 270-280 with the same boost/setup and normally around 20ish psi to make the same power

  • @CamMartonDrift

    @CamMartonDrift

    2 жыл бұрын

    Dyno does play a part in that, certain settings can give you higher read outs, as well as hub or rollers you will see a 30+kw difference, then you get your happy dynos. I think this may be a sad dyno 🤣 Either way 330kw on 15psi is sick!

    Yea hard out I mean he was comparing others to his own dyno with the same setup but yea I know what u mean 360kw is still alot of power just be hard keeping up with the high hp cars at sa

    Hey mate- i'm not an expert with this sort of thing but since you've had the head/block apart and had them both skimmed (i'm assuming)- not using the correct head gasket size would throw the timing belt off mark- correct? Could be the cause of misaligned timing marks/lower than expected power, hence the dilemma you've got. Good video as always

    No need for extended sump. The sump holds x amount of litres. Once you fill it to the full line on dipstick, put the cap on she's good. Head drains don't automatically make more oil and overfill the sump.
